We had never been to Village Inn before, but the definitely exceeded all expectations we had. Going for the 4pm all you can eat perch and cod buffet, perch on a buffet? What? and for $16.99? Yes please! It was delicious! Many other sides to choose from as well. The atmosphere was great, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and everything was clean and welcoming. It was super busy, but I understand why. We will definitely be back to order off the menu. Thank you Village Inn! Great job! P.S. the cheese curds we got as an appetizer were the best we have ever had!Parking: The lot can get full at busy times, but there are other parking options.
Wow what a great place. Old school bar restaurant with fantastic food (burgers, fish, nachos, pizza) and super friendly people. I had a Perch dinner, really really good. I was just passing through on my way up north and I don't eat at McDonalds so this is the place. I will be back. Well done Village Inn.

I have to edit my 5 star review since new owners took over. Its clean and has a nice atmosphere, but the food is not edible. What the hell did you guys do to the food quality? The pizza sauce is a salty, marinara looking slime. Fix the menu please.

I've eaten at Village Inn a number of times, and had always considered them a diamond in the rough. I don't know if they're under new management or what, but the last time I had them the food was absolutely garbage. Not like "oh, the cook is having a bad day" bad. Like the quality from start to finish was just gross, and overcooked on top of it. The pizzas seem smaller, the prices seem higher, and the ingredients seemed inferior to past offerings. The cheese looked, and tasted, plastic. They also got rid of their sampler platter, which was a big draw for my friends and I, who get together bi weekly and often default to VI for food.Honestly, it was bad enough that I won't risk the money on a second chance for fear of just getting more subpar food. If you really want pizza and you're stuck in Linwood, I mean, you do you. But if you have a vehicle, go somewhere else.

Went once for lunch and had great food. Service wasn’t the best but wasn’t upset. Went back again for dinner and drinks. Horrible service. Sat at the bar and told the server we were wanting to order food. She got us our drinks and came back about 15 mins later to finally ask for our order. We ended up leaving and went down the road and had great service. I watched 3 servers stand and eat food while we were waiting to order. Seems like if you’re not a local and a regular they don’t really care about you

New owner bad changes.Burger was good but they skimped on the green olives and lettuce. calzone is about the same as before. The parmisan bites had virtually no parmisan or garlic butter so were basically plain fried dough. They have made cut backs on portion sizes for a bunch of things. They have also increased prices some. And the new menu also cuts some items like the cheddar jack bites. Overall not what they were.
