This was a pleasant little brewery for me to stop at one night. You can bring your own food, and the beers are good. I tried a flight of four of their ales, and they were all well-made without any off notes. The oktoberfest was malty and clean, and the Black Ball dark ale was full of roasted flavor. It seemed like a friendly place, and the bartender was welcoming. Overall, it was a nice brewery with an comfortable atmosphere.
Some of the best beers around. Always has fresh beers with rotating taps and brewer/owner is knowledgeable and very personable. If you haven’t been, you need to try his place out! Many happy mug club members!
Exorbitantly friendly local tap room! Solid beer, good conversation. Foggy Portholes steam ale excellent. Thanks Joe; we'll definitely swing through from Boston next time we are in Michigan. Cheers :)
