The ONLY stuffing I have ever liked, was Awrey's! It was a Thanksgiving MUST! It's a shame that they haven't made it in decades, and now, THE LAST outlet store is closing! I dated a guy in the 80's who worked here, in the bakery, and I loved the gifts he would surprise me with. If ANYONE has the recipe for their stuffing, PLEAEEEEEEAZE tell me! ?? I am heartbroken ?! ?

Hello,I'm been eating your date nut short bread since I was a boy. My mother used to buy them for me. It is obvious to me that you have reduced both the dimensions and the amount of dates you put in each piece. The dimension I can understand because of inflation. But when you reduced the amount of dates, it changed everything for the worse. I can buy flour anywhere. So I guess what I'm saying is, until you start making the same quality cookie that you used to make, I will not be buying them anymore.J. BartBest previous customer ever!

Best quality bakery items in Detroit! At one time, the date nut bars were sold at Costco! Now we drove to Livonia once a month on Wednesday, senior discount day, and stock up for the month.I also remember a few years ago, Delta Airlines provided the Date bars at their airports clubs!!! Loved that.

Love this thrift store. They have all of the old Bill knapps confections. Our favorite of course is the Bill knapps chocolate cake to and we always buy two or three to freeze when we go since they are about four or five dollars cheaper than if you bought them at the store.

Always have something on special, which is great. (Today it was vanilla buttercream cake with pink frosting.) For the best selection, come early in the day. The parking lot has a lot of potholes.
