I work in the plaza so my coworkers and I always order from here, food is always good. My concern was I just picked an order from here and the cashier placed my change on the counter and my hand was CLEARLY out….i gave you the money in hand so give it back that way! I found that extremely rude!! I don’t want to touch you either!
I'm a first timer here and it's so good. The service is just as good. Awesome!
I loved the food. I came in ordered. It didn’t take long to come out and it was delicious. I’m sitting in my car now just full! Highly recommend!
I had a very troubling experience at Basil Bowl. I ordered the basil fried rice lunch during my 30-minute work break. While eating in the parking lot, I found a staple in my food. That is completely unacceptable and a serious health code violation.
I immediately returned the food and was given a new order, which I appreciated. However, my lunch break was already over, and the entire situation was unsettling. Later in the day, I returned after 3 PM to request a refund. I was told I couldn’t get one. The staff member I spoke with was dismissive, showed no concern for the severity of the situation, and refused to provide any way to contact the owner or higher management.
Finding a staple in food is dangerous and should not be brushed off. The lack of accountability and professionalism shown was extremely disappointing. I will not be returning and would urge others to be cautious. This could have caused real harm if swallowed — it’s not just a mistake, it’s a safety issue.
the Asian fusion dishes were well liked by our party of 3.
only slightly disappointed by sunny side up egg being cooked firm.
I got the orange chicken , the chicken tasted like frozen chicken nuggets drenched in some type of sweet tyriaki sauce. The rice also was cold and wasn’t appetizing . My freind also ordered the bang bang shrimp, let me tell you it was nothing like the bang bang shrimp you thinking of . The shrimps were extremely small and were breaded in a hard layer . The shrimp was nasty as no one even touched the plate. However, service was good but I don’t recommend the food and I beeline there are much better Thai places available in the area .
My wife and I love this place! The vegan dishes are amazing. Their tofu is so crispy and tasty. The service is great and pretty fast. 1000/10
The food is actually pretty good here.
However, I just got my takeout order and the new box they started didn't even seal. The curry spilled into the bag by the time I left the restaurant. They should not use this box for curry anymore and at the very least the cashier should have told me that box doesn't seal. For a place that asks for high tips, I expected more.
Ordered the tofu basil fried rice. The medium spice was truly medium (to me), and I liked how they used full basil leaves instead of just basil seasoning. The cold cucumber slices were also a nice addition, as it has a nice cold refreshing contrast to the hot rice, and helps cut down on that spiciness that starts to build after a while. I also felt the portion size to lunch price was fair. Customer service was friendly, as well.
On Monday, February 3rd, around 7:00 PM, we dined at Basil Bowl and wanted to share some feedback regarding our experience. From the start, the cashier’s unfriendly attitude set a negative tone. After placing an order for three dine-in meals, I paid with my credit card. However, I was not given the option to select a tip amount at the payment terminal. Instead, an 18% gratuity (applied after tax) was automatically added to my bill without prior notice or consent.
Given that Basil Bowl does not offer table service—operating more like a Panera Bread-style establishment—an automatic 18% gratuity seems excessive. With the 2025 tax exemption on tips, this charge felt unjustified. The lack of communication about this policy before payment added to our frustration.
I strongly recommend that customers be made aware of these charges in advance. Also, diners should be prepared to clean their own tables before and pick up their dishes after eating.

I stood at the front for a long time without anyone coming from the back. Then the lady that came was rude. She said do you know what you want? Then my food was it not taste fresh at all, and my drunken noodles were stuck together. TERRIBLE..
great with gluten free and vegan options
We bought the beef pho and pad see ew. Both were delicious and fresh! Love the lime and fresh Thai basil. The pad see ew was sweeter than most pad see ew dishes we have tasted before but we would get it again. The beef was also tender and good quality. Very modern establishment and friendly staff. We will return!
I ordered brown rice medium with shrimp and chicken with medium spice. The rice is closer to white rice in color, not brown. Taste wise, it was ok, and pricey to be just ok. However, the soup was delicious that comes with the meal.
The drunken noodle was delicious!
