Good food although service was a little slow! Empty glasses & plates were left and not taken to the back. Refills only given when asked. Got a spinach artichoke dip (really good) but the empty plate was here at the table until we left the restaurant. But was nice overall🤍

We had reservations at 6:30 and didn't get a table until 7. The service was painfully slow. The food was good, but it took forever to get and they seriously skimped on the cheapest things like chips for nachos, chips and salsa and french fires. You don't skimp on the cheapest stuff. On that note one of our guests got the prime rib and it was a nice size portion. It made me wish I ordered that. It was my first time there and everyone has their bad days so I will go back, but if its like that next time I won't go back again. Way too many restaurants out there that get it right to put up with one that doesn't.

To Whom It May Concern,
My wife and I have been loyal customers of the BJ’s Restaurant in Livonia, MI, visiting approximately twice a week for the past one to two years. Our visits can be verified through my wife’s BJ’s online account. For reference, here are just a few of our recent visit dates: 11/7, 10/31, 10/21, 10/9, and 10/3.
Last week, we had an extremely unpleasant experience with a new bartender. We reported the issue to corporate and were provided a $30 gift card. We returned on Monday, 11/10, without any issues. However, when we returned again today with our son, the same bartender made us feel very uncomfortable.
We did not mention the prior incident; we simply ordered our food and drinks. When our drinks arrived, they were incorrect. We quietly asked a different bartender to correct them, which they did. After that, we asked for our bill and noted that we were never asked whether we wanted to order our Pazookis. When the bartender approached, they asked, “Did you put them in?” We responded that we could not have done so because we were never asked which Pazookis we wanted. My wife said it was okay and we were prepared to simply move on.
As another staff member walked by, I mentioned what had happened. She contacted a manager, Matthew Larrow. Matthew came to the front door and said he would check whether the oven was still on, then returned to let us know that it was and offered to either make the Pazookis or provide a voucher. We accepted the Pazookis.
However, when he returned with them, Matthew stated that the bartender told him they had asked us twice which Pazookis we wanted—this was completely untrue. When we said that was false, he responded by calling us liars and mentioned that the restaurant has cameras.
We are requesting a full review of the cameras and the entire situation. We have been loyal customers for years, and we have never been treated with such disrespect by an employee or a manager. I do not want any discounts or gift cards. Please don’t offer as I do not know if I should feel comfortable eating here any longer

I have been to BJ's restaurant several times and always had amazing food and stellar service.. This is the first time that our experience was not up to standards. I ordered a crown and Coke and received an apple crown and Coke. My dinner order was the Mediterranean bowl and the quinoa was undercooked to the point that it was crunchy. I didn't want to complain or send it back as I had already sent that back my drink and my server appeared annoyed when I did this. Dessert was delicious as always!

I had such a great experience thanks to tj. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. They checked in at the perfect times, gave great recommendations, and made the whole meal feel special. You can tell they really care about their job and the customers.
