This place has gone down hill since covid. cornbeef eggrolls didnt come with 1000 island dressing, no fountain drinks, no iced tea, no dr. pepper. Fries are soggy, the building is falling apart inside and out, plexi glass still up with chairs and signs telling you to not move furniture so there is no place to eat.Highly disappointed for the price. and the lack of attention to the atmosphere makes me question the health standards taken here.

This bread basket is serving bad meat. I paid around 60 dollars for 3 sandwiches and all three sandwiches were covered with layers of fat. None of my family could finish the sandwich due to how much fat was on the meat.

Horrible. Arrived 20 mins before close and was met at the door being told they were closed. When I inquired about the hours, the employee stated that they weren’t closing early but had run out of food. This was clearly a lie as the lobby was full of people waiting on orders that were clearly being made. Drove all the way from Canton for NOTHING! Don’t bother trying to patronize this establishment as you can’t be served even during business hours!

Trash! Checked the web and saw that the business closed at 7:30pm. Arrived at 7:10 to be met at the door by snaggletooth light skin man stating the business was closed. Confused, I inquired about the hours and was told that they had run out of everything.. no, bread..no meat..nothing!? Yet, there was a lobby full of people so I inquired what they were all waiting for and was told they were all online orders. This made no sense as you are out of food. I drove all the way from Canton for nothing. Don't waste your time as you can't be served even if you arrive during business hours!!

I placed an order online for two sandwiches, a regular united meat and a large rubuen. I paid extra for grilled onion roll. Picked up the sandwiches, got home and realized the rubuen did not have the grilled onion roll and no sauerkraut. I called the store and spoke with Heather to tell her the sandwich had the wrong bread. She put the cook on the phone and he was very rude! He insisted that it had the correct bread and what did i want him to do about it. He made it seem like i was lying about it and said it was nothing he could do about it because i ordered through a 3rd party app. I spent almost $40 and for him to be rude and not offer me a discount on future order or something for the inconvenience was just ridiculously rude and unprofessional! I asked to speak to manager he said he was the manager. I been coming to this location (livonia)for years and will never patronize again. He could have said come get a dessert or anything besides being rude to someone who has spent their money on something they didn't order. Folks need to do better!

Today at 7:13 called to place a pickup order. The person on the line rudely rattled on that they weren't take call in orders and would be closing their doors t 7:30 and then hung up on me. I called back so I could ask if there hours have permanently changed and if they would be open tomorrow? ( a family member lives the sandwiches and wanted to take one to them and we were traveling from Ann Arbor). Someone else answered this time and answered the same way... this time I was able to ask if hours were changing permanently however he stumbled over his answer and said it was just due to staffing. What's the deal should we rely upon your posted hours or not?
The absolute worst corn beef and cabbage dinner you could ever wanna get. First off it was served ice cold. The corn beef was so fatty abd greasy. And it was expensive.

I have always gone to the Bread Basket because its locations are usually closer for me to get to compared to other establishments in Detroit. Always has a high quality of meat with little to no fat, which is my preference. I am a little disappointed that I asked for russian dressing and mustard and received very little of each even though I watched an employee open a giant tub of Russian dressing in front of me while I waited.

Foods not bad but this like many others is a business that doesn't stick to their posted hours. I've wasted my time and gas several times only for them to be closed when they are supposed to be open and honestly I'm tired of it and I don't even know at this point if I will ever go back. Calling in your order is also useless as they don't even bother to start on your food till after you're already there, you shouldn't have to wait another 15-20 minutes for your food when it was supposed to be ready when you got there.
