Visiting Metro Detroit from SF Bay Area. Followed up on GQ's recommendation for Buddy's Pizza. The Detroit style pizza (regular and thin crust), appetizers, and salads are beyond amazing! I do a regular weekend mobile pickup and the food couple with the CX is perfect. Add to it the takeaway/mobile order handoff convos with friendly locals always sharing their favs, recommendations, and tips for getting Buddy's pizza back home to SF, the entire experience is a truly exceptional Metro Detroit food, community, and happiness. Packaging is compostable/recyclable! VERY highly recommend.

Detriot style pizza is unique to Michigan and different than Chicago style. The pizza was a thick , rectangular shape, known for its crispy , caramelized cheese and focaccia like crust. Very, Very delicious...and glad we tried it!

Having moved from Michigan to California, I can whole heartily say that there's no pizza like a Buddy's Pizza! Always the first stop when I'm back home! Terrific service, quality ingredients, there's never a bad meal no matter what you order! A slice of Michigan that I cant get anywhere else! The Best!!
