the games are fun and the arcade area is always a blast! i love the food but unfortunately this visit was not the first time that it has been awkward to receive any sort of help in the restaurant :( at least three different waiters walked past my group and i that were waiting by the entrance and said absolutely nothing despite eye contact. i’m in a similar service so i understand not being thrilled to see customers but they looked miserable. the lady at the prize counter was a sweetheart though :D

Grandkids had a blast. Points earned for the store. Probably just throw those away and put prices on items in store.

Overshadowed by its illustrious game room, Dave & Buster’s (DB) offers a robust menu of American fare, filled with mostly caloric but savory dishes.
I was traveling on business in Detroit and DB was within walking distance. Truth be told I have my own DB card at home and visit frequently, though not typically to eat.
I did not want to eat anything caloric and I had checked out the menu ahead of time to see if I could find dishes that would keep my calorie count lean ahead of Thanksgiving. I found a few including a nicely grilled salmon, shown in my photos.
Pretzels are shown at 1400 cal, but that’s if you eat all of them — there were five — and ate all of the accompanying dips. So I pretended I was sharing and ate less. Delicious.
The bananas foster is served in DBs unique way, with crystallized sugar granules, a caramel sauce, and thin sliced bananas. The cake reminds me of an Italian cheesecake, which is made with ricotta. Also delicious.

Place is a freaking rip off with horrible service. I don’t think they understand customer service yet want to charge top dollar for everything. Ordered a shot of tequila, tipped 50$ to ensure good service and still got treated like shit. Staff is horrible and the food is mediocre at best. Spend your money somewhere else

Arcade was totally fine, but that was the worst dining experience my friends and I have ever had. Came here to celebrate my friends birthday and we waited 30 minutes to get our drinks and over an hour before we saw food. When we did, orders were incomplete. Ordered items weren’t brought, server Sabrina barely checked us, didn’t say a word out of taking our orders. Tables next to us were seated, served, and checked out before we got food. Yes we had a party of 7, but we were 1 of 3 parties there. Had to ask 2 other employees just to get water. Hate leaving bad reviews but this was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had

Waitress was pretty good and attentive. Food was pretty bad. Ribs were some of the worst I’ve ever had. Very little seasoning and so dang chewy. Slopped on top of some like warm fries with some watery coleslaw. Way too pricey kids meal with 4 tiny nuggets and some more luke warm fries. Other kid seemed to enjoy his cheeseburger. Also, no prices on the menu for drinks so I ended up with a pretty nasty old fashioned made with Jim Beam (waitress didn’t give me any options for liquor) and charged me like $17. At least the gaming was fun.
