This is a great place if you're looking for cakes and Pastries. They're bakova, is delicious. They also made us a chocolate chip cookie. A giant one which is normally not on their menu and it was delicious. I highly recommend.Parking: The store is in a small strip mall With limited parking.

As someone who walked in just wanting some cakes and desserts to take home: great stuff. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the prices per item were very reasonable. The cakes were rich and delicately flavored (not oversweet or oily), and the cannolis were crisp, which is never a given. I was content to pass up the baklava, but the owner offered me a sample of one that had a sweet cheese filling (still warm! I came in the morning), and I absolutely had to take some home.

Ordered a chocolate cake with chocolate mousse for a friends birthday and hands down if I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would! Looked wonderful, tasted even better. Without a doubt the staff gave this cake a special touch! Will be coming back to Dunia Sweets for every celebration moving forward. Recommend to anyone and everyone!
My family has used this cake shop for years! Never had an issue. Cakes are always super moist and delicious! Friday we had a grad party for my boyfriend.. I told him what I wanted and texted him some photos and school logo.. I got small ornaments from a craft store, dropped those off and kinda wondered what he would come up with.. I wasn't sure how it was going to look.. was kind of nervous actually but my jaw hit the floor when I went to pick up the cake it was Gorgeous!! I didn't imagine it would have turned out this cool!! I highly highly recommend this place I have nothing negative to say at all

BEST BAKLAVA ON THE PLANET!!! seriously...the man is a genius... whenever we get baklava from other places in dearborn or farmington or wherever, its always dry and lacking flavor...BUT DUNIA'S IS THE BEST...DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON OTHER BAKERIES.

This is the worst bakery I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I don't know how they're even still open. For my wedding cake, I got a fake cake that was supposed to have a real portion for cutting. Instead of doing that, they left a huge ugly gap in the fake cake and just put a tiny cupcake there for us to cut. They also said they would make a personal cake for the bride and groom to take home and they didn't deliver on that either. The cake I ordered for a grad party looked awful and tasted disgusting - when I tried to talk to the cashier about it she started arguing with me about how that's what I ordered... not to mention that the baker has a verbally abusive wife who doesn't have any problem making customers uncomfortable by being extremely rude to her husband in front of customers.. this place needs to get shut down immediately.
