I stopped in for lunch today to grab a quick bite and it was amazing! Some of the best Mediterranean food I've ever had. It was absolutely the best hummus I've ever eaten. The portion sizes were huge and the staff made me feel like family. I will go out of my way to eat here again. Its a hidden gem!

Best chicken shawarma in the area. Update 9/5/18 never disappointed. Update 6/20/21 still not disappointed. Update 7/1/22 Wally and the crew are the best. Update 6/11/24 the best! 10/21/2025 still the best!

My wife and I usually just order chicken shawarma sandwiches for quick Friday dinners after a long week. The staff is always friendly and the food is really fresh and tasty. Recently we celebrated a birthday and decided to splurge and get the family platter. Wow - great quality, excellent flavors, and we fed 12 people. 👏🏆 They even helped carry it to my car. 👍 Don't miss the exceptional service and tasty food at Green Cedar!

I was really disappointed with both the prices and the portion sizes. First off, the sandwiches were barely filled whether it was meat, chicken, or falafel, it felt like I was mostly eating bread.
What really shocked me was being charged $100 for a tray of tabbouleh. And it wasn’t even a deep, full tray it was a low, flat one and $50 for hummus half tray. When I questioned the price, the owner claimed it was due to the cost and labor. As a chef myself, I know that I could have made that same tray in 30 minutes, and for a fraction of the price.
This was all for a donation to Michigan State, and while I genuinely appreciate good flavors the taste was spot on, I won’t lie the quantity and pricing just didn’t make sense. I support small businesses, but there’s a line. When someone tries to justify a $100 tabbouleh with the cost of parsley, tomatoes, onions, and cucumbers, I have to be honest that’s just unreasonable.
I personally won’t be returning ever!

Really nice guys, but the food is incredible. The Greek salad with beef shawarma was the best I’ve ever had. Seriously. Will be back again every time I’m in town.

There’s something deeply satisfying about a well-crafted kafta sandwich, and this one is a true standout. The moment you take your first bite, the flavors transport you straight to the heart of the Mediterranean. The kafta itself is perfectly seasoned—a masterful blend of herbs and spices that complement the tender, juicy ground meat. Grilled to perfection, it’s smoky, savory, and utterly irresistible.

Nestled within warm, pillowy flatbread, the kafta is accompanied by fresh, vibrant accompaniments. Crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and a tangy drizzle of tahini or garlic sauce add layers of texture and flavor that elevate the sandwich to something truly special. Each component works in harmony, creating a balance that’s both comforting and exciting.

What makes this kafta sandwich exceptional is its authenticity and attention to detail. It’s clear that care and tradition go into every step of its preparation. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Mediterranean cuisine or new to its charms, this sandwich is a must-try. It’s hearty, flavorful, and deeply satisfying—a culinary experience that leaves you eager to return for more.

If you’re seeking a taste of the Mediterranean that’s both familiar and extraordinary, this kafta sandwich is the answer. It’s not just a meal; it’s a journey for your taste buds.

The service was great. The guys were awesome. I hate to say it, but I just didn't like the flavor of anything I tried there. Sometimes you just have to visit places to know you won't be going back.
