This family owned bakery has the best baked goods the frosting is amazing we even got our wedding cake there I've never been disappointed it's my go to for my sweet tooth once you've tried it you'll never go to another bakery the staff is so welcoming and ready to help

My family has been coming here since the 90s and we absolutely love them. Buttercream sticks to pizza bread to everything else are amazing, staff is always super friendly and smiling as well, cant say enough about them!!!

Pretzels, brownie, pizza bread, doughnuts all amazing. The birthday cake I just ordered from there was sadly disappointing! $55 and the design was very simple , the whole thing looked poor , I was embarrassed to present it to my fiance but I didnt have a choice it was the day of his birthday!!! Even the writing on the cake looked amature. The butter cream frosting was not good! Not that sweet or dense and was very greasy. Will continue to get other items but won't be using them for cakes again. Cakes in the fridge looked like more care was taken, for a custom Order I expected better!

I tried I really did. You make amazing pretzels but over charging me on day old product is not good. Also I bought two cupcakes for my hubs and daughter And they tried them and said they were dry... This wasn't the first time. The price I paid I'm not doing that again. 🤦🏼♀️

I was terribly disappointed in the work that Heritage Bakery did for my aunt’s wedding. From the moment the cake arrived it was one disappointment after the next. First of all, the cake arrived late. Second, it arrived unboxed on the lap of an employee in the front seat. (As the manager of a bakery myself, I can say that this is a health code violation.) After watching the owner, Donna, and another woman, Linda, wheel this leaning catastrophe through the venue, I had to intervene. After I asked the owner what had happened she explained that it was “not her responsibility to move the cake” she then said “ I am not the decorator, I am the owner.” Way to take ownership of your product, Donna. She then said that the cake was in the car of an hour. The venue was in Redford and this bakery is in Livonia. If you aren’t familiar with the area it couldn’t have been more than a 30 minute drive and I’m being generous. If other delivers had to be made that day, assemble the cake at the event to prevent what happened OR PRIORITIZE YOUR 1200$ order. Donna then tried to blame the owner of the venue for pieces of fondant melting off of the cake. I could go on and on about how incredibly unprofessional the owner, DONNA, acted and spoke. You charged a couple 1200$ for a pile of cake and plastic tasting frosting. My favorite part of being a baker is being apart of people’s special occasions. Donna, you and your bakery dropped the ball.

We bought my daughter's wedding cake at Heritage Bakery. It was beyond delicious! And beautiful. I am most impressed with their service. I had the cake delivered to the reception. They send a driver and a decorator in case touch ups are needed. None were needed for us.
