I had a salad and they had like half an onion on it. The Coney was aight!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I was not greeted as I stood at the pick up counter, two young white ladies looked at me but never attempted to help me or speak to me. When a white family walked in after me they both greeted them and asked what they could help them with. I will never patronized this location again. The fries are never done and I tried to give them another chance but the prejudice behavior is unacceptable.

The food was pretty good, but the service was horrible. Coney Island's are Detroit's version of a breakfast diner. I shouldn't have to look for a server to have my coffee refilled in a restaurant that's 80% empty. A customer should also not have to flag down a server to pre-bus their table, and then listen to excuses about a missing "busser." How about a polite apology, and just pick up the damn dishes.

The finale came at the register when I was told they don't accept 100.00 bills. Fortunately or unfortunately, it was all I had on me.....and the server reluctantly went for permission. Instead of gratitude for my business, it was like pulling teeth.

My friend and I came here on our lunch break today, everything started out great like every other time we come here, server was prompt, and got us everything we needed. I ordered a small greek salad with chicken, with extra tomato, and extra feta. I cut up my chicken, when to stab into my salad, going in to take a bite, I noticed bloody chicken, I looked at the rest of my chicken, and found three more pieces with blood in it. Our server came back, asked if everything is okay, I said absolutely not and pointed to the bloody chicken. She looked at it and said " I don't know what that is" , I responded with "that's bloody chicken". She then takes my bowl to the manager, and comes back saying "we are going to take off the chicken, extra tomato, and extra feta off your bill". I responded with " I don't think I should have to pay my salad at all, I didn't even get to eat it, as the whole salad was contaminated with chicken blood", she said "that is what the manager said we can do". My friend and I then went up to the counter, the manager looked at my friend said very rudely "where's the ticket", he then snatched it off the printer, told us the total of almost $25, so we still paid for a salad that wasn't eaten and was contaminated by bloody chicken.

Love the service I get here! Walked in with my daughter to grab a carry out order, everything was ready to go and correct. They made my daughter’s day by giving her some cookies to boot!
