Let me start by saying that I have been a devoted Kroger shopper for the better part of 35 years, and this is the store that I have frequented the most. It used to be a pleasure to walk into this store, but over the last 5 years or so, it's gotten to be a very unpleasant place to shop. The store is grossly understaffed, understocked, and dirty. The produce is junk, dairy products often go bad on me long before the expiration date, and the incredibly long lines at the checkouts have become intolerable. I also don't appreciate being forced to use the self-checkouts because there are usually only one or two attended checkouts open. The workers have become surly, and don't appear very happy to be there.
Over the last couple of years, I've tried other Kroger stores, but find there is little improvement, so it appears to be a chain-wide problem. For a while, the fuel points were keeping my business at Kroger, but that's no longer the case. It's really sad to see how this company has deteriorated. Regretfully, I can no longer remain a Kroger customer. I was hoping that things would improve, but they've only gotten worse. See ya, Kroger.

Never using Kroger home delivery again. Delivery was an hour late, some items that needed refrigeration were already warm. And when I tried to talk to the driver, Samer K., he ignored and just walked away saying they had lots of orders. Two items were left off. I never get a text to change until he'd already checked out. Kroger sucks. Never using them again for anything, on line in person.

Horrible store. Many shelves always empty. Three lanes open and lines are always to the back of the store. Other Krogers are not like this a few miles away! Never a good experience walking into this store. My daughter even applied for a job here and they never called her.

I was in line almost 1 full hour Sunday. Not all of the lanes were open. Prime shopping time and not enough baggers. Lines down every aisle prevented access to store goods. Even in off times the store is not appropriately staffed. Which amazes me given self-check out has the customers doing all of the work.

I’ll never be back…food land is the same distance for me..I had a basket full of groceries and had to use u scan and the worker at the u scanner told me I must not watch the news or I’d know this is happening everywhere..how rude to speak to me like that after I just dropped 250 in your store!!!

Waited over 40 mins for clicklist pickup. I could have went in and shopped in this amount of time. Never have to wait this long or even over 10 mins at the Warren & Middlebelt location. There were cars pulling up after me and getting their groceries.

I have finally had it with this place. I have been coming here for year, up to 3x per week. The staff is totally miserable and hate their jobs and it shows. These people know my face by now, I am in often. I never am greeted, smiled at, nothing! I know what it is like to have a bad day, a bad job...but c'mon....I will go out of my way not to shop here.

While I will recommend Kroger's I will NOT recommend their deli department. The lady in front of me waited 25 minutes for help. They had people working but also had a line. My question is, are all these people working on call in/computer orders? Do physically there customers not matter? I came to this Kroger's because this deli carries a salad my husband likes.

I was at the Kroger on 5 Mile Road in Livonia on 04/05/2019. I selected a bagel, but there was no cream cheese available, so I asked a bakery employee where I could find a small package. She stated she would get a package for me. She went into the back, came back with a package, and when I got in my car, I slathered it on and ate my bagel. This store is not only messy, it is filthy and getting worse week after week. Filthy floors, spilled food, rotting food, and food on shelves that is half full, in dirty cartons, or past expiration dates.
