Las Palapas made my Argentine mother-in-law salivate like a kid in a candy store — and if you knew her standards, you’d understand what an accomplishment that is.

I’ve eaten Mexican food all over, and nothing even touches this place. The flavors hit like a mariachi solo — bold, balanced, and unforgettable. The white queso alone could start international diplomacy, and the drinks? Let’s just say they go down way too easily.

I drive two hours once a month just to eat here — and I’d do it twice if my gas tank and metabolism allowed it.

Incredible is an understatement! When we arrived, the restaurant was packed and we were told there was nearly an hour wait. This was our first time, so after looking around, we thought the food must be good, so we decided to wait. And my golly, I’m so glad we did!
The chicken asada was amazing! The fries and chicken were cooked to perfection, even the veggies were fresh. Our whole experience was memorable and the service was great too! I’m just bummed that they don’t cater. We will definitely be back.

Que authentic? Good size portion and pretty good flavor. It was yummy, but I can't say authentic. The salsa was very flavorful tho.

The flavor was great! However the service was curt but not very personable. I ordered a seafood mix over rice with cheese sauce. I got two small scallops and two small shrimps. For 26 bucks I won't be going there again

VERY BLAND, almost tasteless food!! The salsa lacked flavor, had to add salt. The dinner trio of burrito/enchilada/tamale was a waste of time and money. Chicken burrito was devoid of flavor and the flour tortilla it was made with was soggy and unappetizing. The beef enchilada was a 3 on a scale of 1 to 10. The tamale was COMPLETELY. a joke! Absolutely no flavor, dry, and tough. Service itself was AOK. As far as their food, BIG PASS ON THAT ONE! Save your money!! If you're looking for a place to have a quiet conversation and good food, this is not the spot. Overall, the restaurant is very loud.

We came for lunch around 2 p.m. today (Saturday), a good time to come. We were seated in a booth immediately, our friendly server arrived right away with water, menus, a basket of yummy warm chips, and a tasty salsa. We placed our order and the food arrived in about 5 minutes. I had the chicken enchiladas, (smothered in cheese!) rice and refried beans. Huge plate, wonderful food, reasonable price. Best Mexican food around, will go back. It was a happy atmosphere, lots of laughter, people were enjoying themselves.
