First time at Don Juan...excellent service. food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The drinks were amazing. You gotta try their Spanish rice, omg it is sooo damn good!!! It was so fresh, soft, and flavorful, it jus melt in ur mouth. The best rice ever!!! I highly recommend this restaurant.

I decided not to order food after I ordered a 1800 tequila and pineapple juice and the server brought me a jarritos pineapple soda.. I figured it was just a misunderstanding/ language barrier issue.. I asked the server for my drink again and she brought me a rocks glass roughly 1/2 full of 1800/pineapple.. I figured this might just be lack experience so I explained to her that a cocktail mixer should be fill a rocks glass and not a shot of liquor with a splash mixer… I NEVER SEEN OUR SERVER AFTER THAT!! The manager on duty was very helpful and kind. My family did love the food.. but we most likely wouldn’t go back.

Drinks were a little high, we had 2 drinks and an appetizer. Marquerita mix was terrible. I had a coconut drink. Not one ounce of coconut noted. Mi marquerita ordered, asked for frozen came on the rocks. Husband did not finish his drink like me. Waitress disappeared for about 25 mins as we waited for our check.

Didn't seem to have the same energy or quality of service or food as 1st visit? The second visit fell flat! As though they just had the wind knocked out of them? The first visit was on a Friday night, and it was busy. The food came out sizzling and hot! Big portions and eventhough waiter was new, he did a great job. Second visit on a Tuesday. The place was pretty empty. The service was slow and terrible, and the food cold with small portions? Change was like night and day. When we asked what happened. They said it just slow today. Like they didn't even want to be there? I'm not asking for you to jump through hoops? Or pretend to be excited? But at least be consistent with your services and meals?

Atmosphere: Friday's singing duet is WAY too loud. It was very annoying having a good conversation when the duet was performing.
Food: Parrillada for two is what made them famous. Their new version of parrillada dropped in quality. Now it is more like a lazy scrambled meat dish.
Service: Our waiter was awesome!
However, their new hot spicy salsa is a big improvement over their previous hot spicy salsa.

Wow I don't know if I hit it at the right time but my god was everything super fresh there. Best Refried beans I have ever had. Rice is really good but nothing unique or special, just high quality. The ground beef is ok, I wouldn't order it again or recommend. Just wasn't seasoned right and very ground up almost to the point of sand.
But wow that chicken is incredible. Very very fresh and moist and well seasoned. In fact it is/was the best chicken burrito I have had.
The atmosphere is just a Mexican restaurant, it looks like it was previously an Italian resultant inside so you got that going on as well.
The menu is trash, way way bigger than necessary and overcomplicated. Shorten it and add more descriptions.
I recommend the Chicken Burrito with Rice and Beans. Mango Dacqiuri was very well blent as well.
