Maya is a family-owned business that hates families?
Made a reservation for my family via Google — no mention anywhere that families or children were not welcome.
We had visited several times in the past, genuinely enjoyed the food, and even recommended Maya Cocina to friends and colleagues (something I now greatly regret).
