The restaurant was clean, the server was good, and no wait to be seated. The food was ok, but very underseasoned and bland. It was also expensive for not much.

Four out of 6 of us at the table were not happy (overall) with our meals. The spinach artichoke dip (with crab) either had the crab meat in it ground so small you couldn't see or taste it, or they just forgot to add it in. Although they did switch the charge of it that didn't include the crabmeat. Salmon and cod were dry (overcooked), shrimp had a mushy texture, crab cake taste like a regular grocery store frozen food section item, broccolini was bland with 0 seasoning, and the poppyseed vinaigrette dressing had a spicy taste to it that was not expected nor did any justice to the salad and made it unedible. Lastly our server seemed to be spread very thin. Although she was very pleasant, her trips to the table (several times) were rushed and she would leave before we were able to ask for things, and we were left to wait for the period of time it took for her to return to the table. Not a very good 1st time visit experience.

The server was extremely personable with a good sense of humor. She sensed the mood at the table and blended right in. I had the clam chowder which was ok but not great, while the rest of the table had a disappointing Caesar Salad which seemed to be missing the anchovies and a zing. One guest had the steak and said it was very good, but this is a seafood restaurant. As for the seafood, I had the lobster and shrimp stuffed cod which was a llttle better than average, a 3.5 out of 5, with the desert being the best part. The prices were reasonable. Would I recommend the place? It would be a good go to place if you can't decide where to go, but it wouldn't be my first choice, except for the server!

We celebrated our 42nd anniversary and the food was great. The waiter was awesome. Overall great experience would highly recommend going there. We will go back. Prices are fair.

It had to be an off night for Mitchell's. The server was great, but when we got our main course the heat lamps had ruined the fish along with stuffing in the fish and they had cooked tuna to well done. Server immediately took back and the manager brought the new one and it was ice cold. She (manager) took matters into her own hands and cooked it herself and it was edible. There were 5 of us and one of the steaks was well done when medium was requested. So it was sent back and corrected. Both kids loved the steak. The manager chased us down as we were leaving and gave us a $25 discount. She was wonderful. I could tell she truly cared and I felt bad for her as I have been in her shoes. Guests seemed to be waiting a long time to receive their food. So it may have been problems in the kitchen which front of house had no control in getting food to tables. The restaurant is a nice atmosphere and staff were great. It was a Saturday night and they were really busy. I really hope it got better after we left.

Our server was lovely and was accommodating, but when my husband's martini arrived and it only filled 1/3 of a small glass, she was unable to make it bigger. We were appalled! This is the first impression of a restauran,t and they have failed miserably! Moving on, dinner was very good. We enjoyed the whitefish and swordfish and were able to change the side dishes to our liking. But the first impression remains.

Server was okay but did the bare minimum. It was my grandmother's birthday and I had to go out of my way to ask deserts and drinks for her. Sure if its a family restaurant but when your plates are 20$ min for 6 pieces of shrimp, oversalted bique, lobster tale that was smaller then the pile of asparagus next to it.... yeah you need to TRY. HARDER.
