I come here weekly to get a dozen donuts for a work meeting, and on Saturdays for donuts with the family. The work donuts are a huge hit. I always get a blueberry muffin for myself, they are a menu secret and they are fantastic! Light and fluffy with lots of juicy blueberries, and I like that they are made in a mini loaf instead of round, so easier to eat. Donut favorites and requests include the blueberry cake, the single chocolate, the custard filled, apple fritter, the vanilla candy top and the glazed twist. Both the cake donuts and raised are fantastic, perfectly fried with just the right amount of crispy edges with soft doughy center. Highly recommend!

The Looney Baker is a neighborhood treasure. In business over 30 years, my hubby has been coming here since his late teens. This place has a real hometown vibe. Friendly. Great donuts. Excellent service. Good prices. What more could you want? I especially like that you can still get a peanut donut here.

Drove by tonight after dinner. I’d say about 6:30pm on a Friday night. Supposedly open until 10pm, it was a ghost town. Not the first time either. I need a more reliable option. Moving on.
Donuts are always great! I waited 10 minutes for a bagel and had to leave before getting it. I was on my own time crunch but didn’t expect it to take that long.

Looney Baker offers a pleasant sweet tooth respite from the abundance of Tim Hortons scattered throughout Michigan. And the reason they taste better here is simply because they are made better. Handmade and homemade, one or two of their oversized donuts is filling enough for a mid day meal. You'll certainly feel like you need a nap after a couple.
Standard donuts will run you just over a dollar. Oversized $3-4. Enjoy!

Well, let me tell you how nice the customer service at Looney Baker was great. I ordered the soup and half sandwich special for $7.50, too, and the bread of the sandwich was stale and crumbled inside my mouth. The chicken salad didn't taste like chicken, more like turkey, and the soup was okay, a little spicy for me, but to others, it might strike their fancy. Overall experience I would give it a 2 out of 10 stars because the food was NOT all that great.
