This was our first time here. There was a 15 minute wait for 3 of us. Service and atmosphere was good. We ordered the perch, the meatloaf and the kid's fish and chips. The kid's fish was good but there was only one piece of fish with a lot of fries. The perch was not lake perch. It was larger and more like Canadian perch. It tasted ok.The "not your mother's meatloaf" was definitely not any mom's meatloaf. It was the worst I've ever tasted. It was soft and didn't taste meaty. I don't recommend this meatloaf. The meal was over priced for what we got. It also took about 25 minutes to get our food.

Waited a bit to be sat..no line ..no sign saying please seat yourself..etc, so I had to ask a customer . Waitress came up in a hurry...felt like she was in a burn and turn mode despite the fact there was no line.?Ordered the 8.99 " breakfast special" the only thing special was the cherry walnut toast. Breakfast was generic..Luke warm..and server never came back to ask if I was Happy. Always wanted to try this place...won't be back..The Red Apple on Michigan Ave.. Still has the best breakfast.... Nicest servers.. And you don't leave hungry like I am today... I wish it was closer...

Never been but had been wanting to try it. My friends birthday arose and she wanted to go here so gave it a shot. I got the polish plate and it was amazing. And French onion soup was perfect. Although they were extremely busy we got sat quick and the service was great. The server was on point. The ambiance is chill. Kind of like an upscale coney island. Will be back to try more of the food
