Tropical Smoothie Cafe

By far one of the best locations in Michigan. Those young black ladies made me feel at home, helped me order exactly what i wanted & were very prompt! I’ll always go out my way to visit!!! 💣 smoothie 🤤. I couldn’t ask for more. Alittle expensive, but worth every penny!!!!

The first time I went here I was improperly charged for my items and was told a manager was not available and that I could back on Monday and that was on a Friday. I was speaking with the supervisor who could visibly see the difference in price from the board and what it was rininging up as and she refused to give me the difference back. The second time I go I get a Chia Banana Boost but I’m allergic to bananas and sub with mango…THEY PUT BANANAS IN IT!!! It’s like making a smoothie is hard and frankly as a former employee everything is prepared ahead of time. I’m not sure how hard it is to put the correct fruit in and thank good I had my epi pen. Ridiculous! Never go to this location.

Don’t request curbside. I was right in front of the door. 4 staff behind the counter. At times no customers. I waited until the time ready passed and then finally had to go into the store to get it. The next person in the store was also a “curbside” customer. Poor service.

If you are going to charge me $17 for lunch, you have to at least make the food right. I ordered a Buffalo Chicken Wrap that didn't end up with any buffalo sauce on it. That's the entire point of the wrap. It was not good, and went in the bin. The smoothie was fine. Overall disappointing expereince.

A manager came out to tell at me while I was walking out. Brother, I hope you're okay. You didn't have to take your anger out on me. You're setting a bad example for the young people that work there.

This is my second time coming to this location. First time they did not have bowls for the Pz swizzle now this time I’m leaving the gym. It’s 8:33pm. I get to the drive-through and it said the store closed at nine so I thought I still had time. Waited For like three minutes no one responded pull around to see what time it’s says on the store front door as well and noticed two associate is looking at the camera and did not want to take no one order! what type of customer service is this ? This is why companies lose business, money and revenue and don’t survive due to associates like this. I love Smoothie King. I wish we had people who take their jobs seriously.

If u love smoothies and you are able im telling you, GO TO THE TS on W seven mile in Livonia on the morning shift when the mother daughter duo is there. When I say they put the smooth in smoothie I mean just that. I stg they should go to all tropical smoothies in the world and train them because u will never ever have a better smoothie.

Employees are extremely rude and nasty. They talk to you like you’re a person on the street instead of a paid customer

Arrived at 8:07 am on Saturday and the door was locked. After a minute of me knocking someone came and rudely opened the door saying, “we ain’t doin food”. The other person waiting outside with me left after hearing no food. After I received my smoothie I said thank you and I was not acknowledged whatsoever. I felt like a burden and a big inconvenience to the young gentleman working. 10/10 would not recommend

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! THE WINDOWS WERE FILTHY DIRTY, THE FLOORS WERE FILTHY DIRTY, THE SEATS WERE FILTH.. EVERY SINGLE CO-WORKER SHIRT LOOKS LIKE IT HADN'T BEEN WASHED IN WEEKS. I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. I'M AFRAID TO DRINK MY SMOOTHIE!! HAVE SOME RESPECT FOR THE PEOPLE YOU SERVE AND CLEAN YOUR RESTAURANT, PUT YOUR HAIR UP AND WASH YOUR CLOTHES! GROSS.
