The young woman who took my order was great! Upbeat, professional, and friendly. She eagerly greeted a seemingly regular customer who entered after me while I waited. Made small chatter with him suggesting she establishes rapport with customers. Food was good but I ordered jumbo and received a standard portion. Cupcake showcase had three in it and was not clean.

The dude taking orders is clearly on drugs wiping his face and looking out of it 100%. He’s then touching money and then going bare hands and wiping off the meat and lettuce trays. Shoving his hands in the trash can to push down the trash. I want a refund how unsanitary and the health department should be called. I’ll be calling my bank to get money back on food that’s 100% unsafe to eat.

Look. Nothing bad about this place. Friendly people working there. Made the food perfect. However the portion of the meat was not enough I know everything is portion control. However I just miss the old Tubbys back in the day. Can’t really afford 16 dollars for a large sub all the time but once in a while it’s ok to splurge. Thanks. Btw the place was in a gas station. Super clean.

The worker there was awesome so I do not blame him for this. But as my wife and I were eating our subs we came across 4 hard white shards in our subs. I don’t know if these are bones or not but they are hard as bones. Which made these subs very concerning.

I went in for an early lunch. Staff was very friendly, however woman was on her phone as she greeted me and continued to watch something for several seconds while she stood across the counter before she put the phone down to take my order. I was going to dine in, but noticed that while I was the only customer in the store before lunchtime had even begun, every table was dirty and I’m sure they had been since the night before. Then the worst part is that I’m used to a Tubby’s steak and cheese being phenomenal, the sandwich they made had a lot lettuce, while skimping on the steak. I had several bites of just lettuce and bread. It’s unfortunate that some locations just aren’t up to par.

Honestly my only real complaint when I go in. There are two guys that work there. The taller guy when he goes to take the order stands there in front of the cash register looking at his phone. The smaller guy usually starts to take my order before the other guy gets off the phone to finish. I've seen the tall guy do the same thing when the lady is there too. The little guy and the lady are always super nice and friendly. Highly recommend them. Though I was reading though the other reviews. There was one by Guy Williams who had a giant review who at one point complained that an employee shouldn't be allowed to use the restroom. I pray that you can see that that person was just an internet troll trying to make up as many things as possible to cause trouble for that store. Thank you for reading my review.

I showed up at 6PM on Sunday night after seeing their posted hours are supposedly till 7PM. They were definitely closed. Update your hours if you aren't going to be open so people don't waste their time driving there.
Grew up here literally. It's the place I would ride my bike to the quieter part of my town. Get a steak and cheese.. I didn't know it then, tubbys is a Michigan staple and I think our kids should at least try one... Grab a bag of Better Made BBQ and enjoy your summer ?
