Nothing spectacular about these pasties. Not bad just ordinary with no taste and as if with everything else today half the size they used to be.

My son was in MI a couple of weeks ago. I asked him to bring me back some pasties (I live in TN). He had brought me some once before and so he went back to that pace but it was out of business. So I guess he googled and found this place. Well...he got a baker's dozen and brought them back. I might have one left in the freezer. They are delicious!!! I lived in Garden City for 33 years and there used to be a place, Northwood's Pasties, not far from me in Westland. Would buy from them occasionally and they were good too. My daughter is coming down in a week or so and I do believe she is going to have to bring me some more! Tennessee has some great catfish places but not a pastie to be found. I got the beef and really, really love them.

Pastys were pretty good but over-priced at $9.00 each for a beef pasty. Also it was extremely hot in ther. The coleslaw is amazing!

Went 10 miles to eat lunch it's Tuesday 12:15 no food available all frozen ,or in the oven cooking , really lunch just started,so inconvenient for a new customer,no wonder they are closed 3 days a week ,went to Superior pastys on Plymouth road at least I know I can get food there

Stopped for a pasty lunch special and found an excellent beef pasty with a hearty gravy. The crust was flaky and light, the filling had nice big bite-size pieces of meat and veggies — and that hard rolled edge is supposed to be there, dip it in the gravy! Tasted just like they do at home in the UP, I was thrilled to find them and will be back. Mouth, stomach, heart and wallet are all happy 👍 Thanks!

Could be rated a 5 if didn't charge you an extra 3%. Also I would rate Uncle Peters pastys better. I find Uncle Peters pastys at several area grocery stores as well as their own stores so they are much easier to obtain than Nick's. Nick's has a lot to learn about doing business.

Looked for a pasties place on my errands run. These are excellent! Made with beef, carrots, onions, potatoes, rutabaga. I got gravy, the other person likes ketchup. Both of us very happy. Store is slightly hidden in strip mall. We got a 12 selection to put in freezer. They have beef, chicken, veggie, and sheperds pie. We will be back.

This past Christmas (2024) we purchased several dozen pasties to give as gifts to family. Of course we filled our freezer as well. Literally the best tasting pasties ever. They are filling enough to have as an entire meal, and very quick to heat up. My family has tried several pasties from around Michigan, “Nick’s” are the best.

Love this little pastie shop! The pasties are perfect and even the front area at the counter makes you feel like you're in the U.P.!
