Love this little pastie shop! The pasties are perfect and even the front area at the counter makes you feel like you're in the U.P.!

I took a trip around locally to pasty places I could get to within about an hour from home and this place has the beef pasties that I crave! Best tasting filling inside and a crust that's buttery and actually HAS flavor compared to other places. I don't need gravy with these to be satisfied.

My family is from Copper Harbor. I grew up eating pasties. These are VERY authentic and DELICIOUS 😋 Definitely the next best to homemade. As a matter of fact, they are just like homemade! Can halt tell a difference. HIGHLY recommend.

The pasties were average at best. The crust was hard and bland. A doughy, buttery crust is what is more typical than this hard, crunchy crust at this restaurant. 3 pasties were $27. VERY EXPENSIVE for a tableless, cash preferred outdated counter. What turned us off the most was the off putting disgust that a customer actually wanted to make a purchase. Maybe they’re used to commercial or bulk only orders vs a small family just stopping in for takeout. Regardless it felt very unwelcoming and don’t worry. Your wish is granted. Another customer, and their money, is gone. Would NOT recommend. We regretted making the 25 min drive.

Grabbed the lunch combo today: beef pasty, can of pop and cole slaw (you can get chips or gravy instead). Delicious and ready fast! Flavored perfectly, crunchy crust. I need to go here more often and so do you. The decor is all Copper Mining which is perfect.

We had two chickens we don’t like gravy so we did not have gravy. They were very dry and tasteless. We won’t return.
I pulled into the lot (small shop!) the aroma was straight from N of the bridge, these are the Best Pasties S of the UP! Gravy was excellent. We will be repeat customers for sure ??????
Parking: Spots I. Front of store, in & out service, carry out only

I was on vacation from California and needed to find a pasty before I went home. Glad I found this place, it was great. If I ever make it back to Detroit I'll make it back here.

I love pasties but my Aunt and I both became sick from separate batches of "Upper Peninsula-Style Beef Pasty". Never coming back, not worth the risk

I love pasties and have had them all over the UP, as well as in Cornwall England, and these were pretty good. The crust was buttery and flaky, the veggies were cooked perfect. My only con is at first I thought I got a vegetarian by mistake but I did find a bit of beef hiding in the amongst the potatoes onion and carrots, but not much, maybe an ounce total. The shortage of nice peppery beef is the only reason I would hesitate shelling out another 9 bucks for one.

Omg!!! So good! I haven’t had a Pasty in so longgggg! Haven’t been to UP in forever! Brought back some tasty memories as a kid. My husband who doesn’t like them never had these and he loved! (His family used to order for a from a Church fundraiser from somewhere and he thought they were dry) this didn’t even need gravy Or ketchup . So super good! We will be back!
