Prices go up, size goes down... All businesses, though.

Went 10 miles to eat lunch it's Tuesday 12:15 no food available all frozen ,or in the oven cooking , really lunch just started,so inconvenient for a new customer,no wonder they are closed 3 days a week ,went to Superior pastys on Plymouth road at least I know I can get food there

Stopped for a pasty lunch special and found an excellent beef pasty with a hearty gravy. The crust was flaky and light, the filling had nice big bite-size pieces of meat and veggies — and that hard rolled edge is supposed to be there, dip it in the gravy! Tasted just like they do at home in the UP, I was thrilled to find them and will be back. Mouth, stomach, heart and wallet are all happy 👍 Thanks!

Could be rated a 5 if didn't charge you an extra 3%. Also I would rate Uncle Peters pastys better. I find Uncle Peters pastys at several area grocery stores as well as their own stores so they are much easier to obtain than Nick's. Nick's has a lot to learn about doing business.

Great Pasty’s and Yooper approved too. The service is also excellent. Definitely recommend

Looked for a pasties place on my errands run. These are excellent! Made with beef, carrots, onions, potatoes, rutabaga. I got gravy, the other person likes ketchup. Both of us very happy. Store is slightly hidden in strip mall. We got a 12 selection to put in freezer. They have beef, chicken, veggie, and sheperds pie. We will be back.

This past Christmas (2024) we purchased several dozen pasties to give as gifts to family. Of course we filled our freezer as well. Literally the best tasting pasties ever. They are filling enough to have as an entire meal, and very quick to heat up. My family has tried several pasties from around Michigan, “Nick’s” are the best.

Love this little pastie shop! The pasties are perfect and even the front area at the counter makes you feel like you're in the U.P.!

I took a trip around locally to pasty places I could get to within about an hour from home and this place has the beef pasties that I crave! Best tasting filling inside and a crust that's buttery and actually HAS flavor compared to other places. I don't need gravy with these to be satisfied.

My family is from Copper Harbor. I grew up eating pasties. These are VERY authentic and DELICIOUS 😋 Definitely the next best to homemade. As a matter of fact, they are just like homemade! Can halt tell a difference. HIGHLY recommend.

The pasties were average at best. The crust was hard and bland. A doughy, buttery crust is what is more typical than this hard, crunchy crust at this restaurant. 3 pasties were $27. VERY EXPENSIVE for a tableless, cash preferred outdated counter. What turned us off the most was the off putting disgust that a customer actually wanted to make a purchase. Maybe they’re used to commercial or bulk only orders vs a small family just stopping in for takeout. Regardless it felt very unwelcoming and don’t worry. Your wish is granted. Another customer, and their money, is gone. Would NOT recommend. We regretted making the 25 min drive.

Grabbed the lunch combo today: beef pasty, can of pop and cole slaw (you can get chips or gravy instead). Delicious and ready fast! Flavored perfectly, crunchy crust. I need to go here more often and so do you. The decor is all Copper Mining which is perfect.

We had two chickens we don’t like gravy so we did not have gravy. They were very dry and tasteless. We won’t return.
