Ribs can't be matched. Excellent food and the service is excellent, they also have alcohol. What more could you want.

I made kind of a large, last minute order. They were more than accommodating and the food was EXCELLENT. Chicken was well seasoned and fried perfect. Ribs were tender and saucy. The potato salad was perfect. We will be back soon

The fried pickle chips were crispy on the outside, but the pickle inside was limp and just blah. Batter too thick - that’s pretty much all you taste. The barbecue sauce on the BBQ Chicken tastes too much like the original Open Pit to be anything else. Like backyard barbecue. The batter for the fried chicken I a a bit bland. Coleslaw is not anything special, though it is clearly freshly made. The rolls are reminiscent of hot dog buns. The fries were the star of the meal - crispy exterior, good flavor.
The waitstaff is friendly, and the place looks nice - very clean!
Not a “destination” restaurant by any stretch, but not a place to avoid, either.

We went in for the Friday Fish Special and it certainly was delicious. An ample serving of fish with fries and coleslaw was a great deal. In addition, the atmosphere is very welcoming. Louie with help from family members are the nicest people you'll ever meet. We've enjoyed this restaurant with every visit.

This was our second time coming here and the waitress was still horrible. The younger waitress is much nicer but she's usually behind the bar. The older woman is quite rude if you aren't a regular. The first time we came the food was great so we figured poor service could be ignored. Unfortunately on our second visit, the food sucked too. There were bones in my fish, the ribs were tough, the coleslaw was even different and the macaroni and cheese was burnt. There is an upcharge if you don't want their nasty French fries. My entire group of 5 have decided not to try for a 3rd visit.

Ordered take out online, I live very close by. Everything was either cold or lukewarm. Ribs were just warm and too fat. French fries were cold and burned. Shrimp was the frozen variety and were cold also. The mac and cheese saved the day, but it too had to be heated. Food is definitely not made upon ordering. The server even assisted a person who walked in after us after she had just stated she would be right with me and told me where to stand. Not a good customer experience or first impression. Won't go back!!
The owner Wanted to upcharge me for trying to switch a to cheaper side on the burnt ends platter. Wouldn't recommend to anyone and will go out my way to tell everyone I can about this bad experience

Not great. The ribs were very tough and hard to eat. The sauce was just as bad and was expecting homemade but tasted like cheap store bought bbq sauce. Bland fries and dinner rolls. Thought id give this place a try but ill stick to mission bbq in northville.
Edit- I recently gave this place another try and it was a much better experience.

I've ordered ribs from zukins for years but something has gone very very wrong. The last 2 rib dinners I've had were awful, ribs were very tough and had hardly any sauce, couldn't eat them and threw them in the garbage after not finding even one edible rib.
