Interesting menu, but execution is lacking. Great oysters, but nothing else to recommend. Fried fish not particularly fresh and the Interesting seafood choices were more likely off of a commercial food truck. And yet, a fabulous dessert and good wine selection. A little more effort on the food options and in house preparation, and this place could be a real gem.
Visiting Blu Moon was a great experience, especially sitting upstairs and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Our waitress, Dawn, was friendly and provided excellent service throughout our visit. The wings were delicious, and there were so many different flavors to choose from. We also enjoyed the crispy onion rings and tasty nachos. Overall, it was a fun place to relax, enjoy good food, and take in the atmosphere.
The past few visits have changed my opinion of this restaurant from excellent to mediocre. The menu has been significantly scaled back and the food hasn't met my previous experiences. I'm not sure what's going on but I hope they get their groove back.
