They just don't have a good trained team from what I saw and experienced. They don't seem to work as a team. Too many details of issues here to even list.
So sorry to say this. Usually, Ludington has it together.

This place is pathetic. It started off with our party and the one in front of us waiting so long to be seated that the party in front of us grabbed menus and utensils and sat themselves. There is no sign to seat yourself or to wait to be seated. There were more workers than there were customers, yet no hostess. After an even longer wait, we seated ourselves also out on the upper deck, only to be told we can't sit there. So we went to the lower deck which half the tables were empty but not cleaned off. So we finally sat inside. Mind you we have been in front of the door for 10-13 minutes at this point so those tables sat uncleaned that entire time. When our waitress came over to order drinks, she was great but transferred from the other location so knew nothing about drinks or the menu. They had no bartender, so waitresses were winging drinks without knowing what rail liquor is. After ordering, there was one couple who I heard have been waiting for an hour and they left without eating. There was another table with a few small children who waited hours and one waitress told them 4-5 minutes only for another waitress to come by and say it wasn't even made yet and they had to retake their order. For a restaurant that's been open this long, they have absolutely no idea what they're doing. Whoever manages this place should be fired immediately or close half the place, because they have no organization to handle it despite clearly having the manpower.

This place was a joke! Ordered our drinks and debated on leaving from the get go because the table next to us had been waiting for almost 2 hours for their food! They had 4 to 5 children that were extremely patient considering the wait they had to endure! People were rerouting incoming costumers back out the door after experiencing the long wait. After a long wait for our group we ended up doing the same. Very unorganized and poor management! Our waitress Valarie was absolutely amazing under the circumstances! No actual bartender on site so waited forever for drinks as well. The fish Tacos were very good but the hassle to get to actual getting to enjoying them was totally not worth it!

The club panini had ham on half and turkey on the other half. Caesar salad was swimming in dressing. After two drinks, how do you run out of peach schnapps? Waitress sent someone to get more, but they never came back. Husband's burger was ordered medium rare he got medium. Bavarian pretzel sauce had a taste of peanut butter 🤢. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Asked for well done burger got bloody. Up charges $3 for fries that would normally come with the burger. It’s okay but not returning.

When you order pork chops over mashed potatoes and rice pilaf and it comes out over French fries, what do you say? Maybe a menu should be kept in the kitchen and expediting station. Simple mistakes are so easily avoidable.

It was trivia night upstairs and it was quite hot for springtime without air conditioning. Trivia with such a blast - but the food left a bit to be desired. We had a new server working behind the bar and he was really pleasant, even though food and drink service was slow in general. We will absolutely try things again soon! :)

We hosted our wedding reception at Timbers in Ludington, Michigan, and it was truly everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, the staff especially Mandy, went above and beyond—they were not only friendly and professional, but also incredibly intuitive, anticipating our needs before we even voiced them.

The food was absolutely delicious, with the macaroni and cheese being a standout favorite among our guests (we’re still getting compliments about it!). The team at Timbers also did a beautiful job transforming the space into something cozy, romantic, and welcoming, making the evening feel both intimate and elegant.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special day. If you’re considering Timbers for any event—or just a great meal—you won’t be disappointed!

The food was good, service was okay. I spent maybe 4 minutes waiting at the door to be seated when the place was empty.

The gyro and chips were excellent! The service was very nice, the atmosphere is comfortable, and the rock music they played was awesome.

We arrived this evening a party of 6 to have dinner. The hostess said it would be 20 minutes before being seated. We asked if we could have a drink while we waited. There were at least four empty tables. The hostess said she’d go ask if we could have a drink while we wait. They told her to tell us No! We were dumbfounded and couldn’t believe they could not even accommodate us for a drink while we waited. REALLY! We left and will never go back and let others know how terrible our experience was!

Wow! Absolutely terrible experience. When we walked in, we asked if we could sit out back on the patio or on the roof. The server with the pink hair and nose ring said "well it's kind of busy" and walked away. What does that mean? So we picked a high top table. It was hot as heck in there (no AC on an 88 degree day) and all the servers, bartenders and cooks looked dirty. You could see the sweat dripping down their backs through their shirts. The "pink" server had no idea what she was doing, no personality, and couldn't get our drink order right. The bartender wasn't happy with pinkie, and after waiting 20 min for our drinks, we finally walked out.

This place was not open on Monday for dinner after 5pm. It looks like they may only be open Friday and Saturday. This was after labor day also. Wish they would have updated their hours before i drive all the way from Silver Lake.
