We have made Kingston Kitchen an annual dinner location while visiting Mackinac Island. The jerk chicken fettuccine alfredo is a must!! My husband had the bbq fried chicken and is still talking about how great it was! Great food plus a friendly atmosphere with a great waitstaff. Highly recommended.

Had a great lunch today and can’t wait to come back to try other things. The Jerk pork is as superb! Really happy to have a restaurant with these roots and flavors in our neck of the woods! Hope they will be open in the winter. Thanks for the great meal and service!

Great location in town. Large living room and well stocked kitchen. Clean and easy to keep clean with vinyl flooring and area rugs. Even though it sits above a restaurant, it is very quiet.

We went here twice during our three days on the island. Food delicious and service was great. It was a bright spot to find something different in comparison all the other typical pub fare on the island. Highly recommend!

Room was larger than I expected, had a pull out couch, and the kitchenette had all appliances. The place is more like a small apartment building than a hotel, and doesnt have an escalater. Shower, toilet and bathroom sink were emmaculate, they looked brand new and never used. Could use fresh paint everywhere, and a little more attention to detail, there were cobwebs and dead bugs in most corners. Furnishings are dated, but seemed pretty clean, the location is nice, being right on top of Kingston Kitchen restaurant and across from Sheplers dock on the western end of downtown. Could definitely use a change of carpeting, its pretty old and matted. Can get slightly noisy with music coming from downstairs bar, but not overbearing. Staff was friendly, but didnt have much interaction with them. There are plenty of opening windows with screens in the living room and bedroom, and there are box fans. There is a vacuum, baby bed and small ironing board that will need to be used on the counter top. Living room space had an air conditioner with window exhaust, ceiling fan, also a small balcony overlooking Hoban street and Great Turtle Brewery Restaurant. Great price considering location, and would certainly book again when staying in downtown Mackinac Island.

Stayed here before pandemic. Wasn't bad for the rate, however, now if they want to justify their up'd rates they need to step it up! Bad windows, some windows without screens. I won't complain about the loud noise in the bar because, well, all bars are loud. With the noise in the bar it would be a good idea to have tv's in all the bedrooms to drowned out the band music.

Considering when you're traveling to Mackinac Island you're not spending a lot of time in your room. We stayed in suite 3, it was nice. A little outdated. The ceiling LED light in the back bedroom stays on all night, I ended up unplugging it as the front desk said they didn't know if housekeeping could look at it. You can hear music from down stairs. It only played until 9pm and 10pm. Everything else was fine.

They have some good beers and they were dog friendly on the patio!
