The drinks were ok and the service was fine. But come here for the view. It's excellent and whatever you're drinking it'll taste better with the site of the Mighty Mac over the horizon of the lake.

Fantastic location for cocktails or drinks, small bites and the best sunset view. We went to the second floor of the bar and had plenty of seating, great hostess, an outstanding view of the MacKinac Bridge and Sunset, and yummy cheese and meat board.

Not usually the type to leave a review, let alone a bad one. However my family and I sat there for probably 20 minutes and never had anyone even greet the table. Even if it was busy and they even said something like “I will be right with you” or anything along those lines would’ve been much better than being constantly walk past nor acknowledged. As someone who works in the food service industry it’s very disappointing because it looks like a beautiful atmosphere just really poor service.

Came here in the evening for drinks and to listen to the live piano playing. This part of the hotel doesn't require formal dress in the evenings. The atmosphere inside the bar is great. The drinks, while very good, were also the most expensive drink I ever ordered so we only had one each - it is the Grand Hotel so it was not surprising and part of the experience if staying the night.
