Great service, ok food. The atmosphere is dark, but fun. The restaurant was clean, the food came out in a relatively good amount of time. I wouldn’t recommend the fish and chips.

Great waiter. BBQ Brisket was very good!! Crabmeat Rangoon just okay, pot pie good needed more chicken. Really liked the place. Definitely worth a try!!

This was by far the best restaurant we ate at! The whole restaurant was very nice and clean, with nice spacious seating. The waitress kept us filled up on drinks and she was really nice. The food, now that was the best. 2 in my group got the brisket gouda mac and cheese and they both said it was the best food ever! I got the crispy po'boy and was awesome! My son had the kids mac and cheese and he loved it, and when I say that speaks volumes is an understatement! He is a picky eater...

Yummmm! This place never disappoints. Great food, good service. French dip was delicious, the fries were so good. Hubby got bacon cheeseburger and it was good.

Husband had brisket and Gouda Mac n cheese and said it was very good. I had the breadsticks w/cheese soup to dip. Bread was good, cheese was just ok. Service was excellent and friendly. Food came out really quick.

Got the duck wontons and brisket gouda mac. Both were really good, and they give you pretty decent serving sizes. The server I had was absolutely amazing too (forgot her name, ADHD..) and made sure to put some time in between my starting dish (wontons) and entree (brisket). The brisket on the mac and cheese was smokey and tender, and the duck wontons were just delicious. I meant to go to Horn's Gaslight Restaurant and came here on accident, but it was well worth the visit.

Our meal was delicious ? Food was served hot...the Prime Rib sandwich was served with an aujous type dip and a pickle!!! The French fries were hot and tasted great. Definitely would return!!!

Hidden gem! Great prices and generous portions. We had the Chicken Pot Pie. It was $18 and came with a ton of pot pie filling topped with 4 biscuits. We also got a ribbeye which was a decent portion size and a side of mashed potatoes, green beans and 2 pieces of bread for $38. Reasonable steak prices for the Island. The Michigan Cherry Mule seems artificially flavored. It uses Grand Traverse Cherry Vodka.

We stopped here for an late lunch / early dinner. The burgers were absolutely delicious!! Dare I say one of the best I’ve had. The pretzels and beer cheese were also amazing. Great service too. No complaints here :)

We come to the island every year. We finally ate here for first time and I swear I raved about how good the food for hours and even into the next day! I was even worried that anywhere else we ate would not meet my standards anymore after eating here! HahaI had a Caesar salad and the pot pie, and I tried a bite of the fish and steak tips (I am a big foodie) If it were my choice, we would’ve eaten every meal here for the rest of our vacation! Excellent service and reasonable prices too. Eat here, you will not be disappointed!

We have visited Mackinac Island once a twice a year for many years. This is a more recent addition to the many restaurants on the island so we thought we'd try it this time. The food was pretty good, but not excellent. The crab rangoons seemed premade, and were pretty tasteless. The french onion soup average. Staff was friendly. Decent value compared to other similar restaurants on the island. We felt there are better choices for dining with better menus.

People had warned us about the location of the Broken Spoke prior to arriving - and we learned why quickly. The front faces the carriage stop for the tours and with the door open, it can be odoriferous. Yet, we stayed. My wife had the brisket sandwich and loved it. I have the steak and garlic toast. The horseradish sauce was a real plus. We did learn the restaurant on the Island is closing in September, relocating to St. Ignace - going to have to try it there.

Best pub on mackinac island. Hands down. This is where the locals go. Fantastic food thats made homemade. Drinks made and shiped in locally or Mitten made. Go show this place some love!

They make a KILLER Reuben! Definitely worth trying! We also loved their loaded baked potato tater tots. YUM. Cherry Mule is a delicious drink made with local cherry vodka. Atmosphere is chill and service was lovely. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals.

This went from a one start to 4 star review because of the manager. He quickly corrected a potentially very bad situation caused by an inexperienced host. He should be commended. The food was EXCELLENT. I had the pimento BLT which was unique and delicious. The remainder of our party enjoyed the food as well. The manager personally served us after the incident to ensure excellent service. Kudos to him again.
