We’ve had Italian stallion with the honey truffle drizzle for lunch and It was really good. However, the service was quite terrible. This is an open kitchen so I was able to observe how the crews work. The 2 crew in the kitchen were so laid back, we were told 12 minutes of waiting but it was more of like 25-30 minutes waiting time for non-busy day. They just move very slow, with no passion. The 2 dudes just stood around and just kept talking and talking not moving around or treating the workplace as work-work.

Good pizza! Expensive, but what on the island isn't. Service was good, it's kind of strange they didn't have trash in the restaurant but ok. Someone walked around and picked it up and it was clean.

Like everything else on Mackinac Island, the pizza was way over-priced and just so-so. I'm from Detroit, so when you put up a "Detroit style" pizza, be ready for some criticism. While close, it wasn't quite Buddy's or Cloverleaf. The bottom was burned and the sauce was meh. And the counter girl could use a lesson in customer service. She spoke so fast we could barely understand her and when asked to repeat copped an attitude. Was really hoping for something different than all the other offerings on the island, but this ain't it...

This is good pizza. I've had different Detroit-style pizzas from some of the biggest and most well-known pizzerias in Detroit and this is certainly right up there with them in terms of taste. It's great to have access to quality Detroit-style pizza so far up north -- I will certainly come here again the next time I am on the island

Detroit style pizza is a must when in Michigan! This restaurant had the cutest vibe, loved the retro diner decor. It's also a more relatively affordable meal on the Island - we fed a family of 4 for less than $40. We got half mushroom and half tomato basil and it was perfect. The crust of the pizza was so crispy and the toppings were so fresh. I'd definitely go back!

The pizza was good , however, I was charged a credit card fee when I paid cash. I asked why and the counter person said "the register always charges that". Not a great answer....subsequently, no tip was given. The place was clean.

Pizza was good. They let us sub ingredients which was great. The garlic bread rolls were a little doughy.

The pizza was amazing. We are from Detroit where Jets Pizza is king, and this pizza was even better! Was surprised us most thought was the time the manager Shelby spent with us and our family. She did a fantastic job providing customer service, telling us about the origin of the business, and just being a genuinely great person. We would come back for the conversation with Shelby alone, the pizza is just the added topping. Thank you Shelby!

Off the beaten path so not over crowded like every other restaurant on the island. Also not over priced like everyone else either. Very good pizza and bread sticks!

Enjoyed our stop at Mackinac Island Pizza. It is Detroit style so know before you go. We like Detroit style so we were happy. Has a small dining area. We ate an off hour and it is off the main strip so caught it when it was quieter.
