The fudge is tasty and delicious

Lots of choices on Mackinac Island for fudge but this was my favorite. I liked watching the fudge being made with precision. Plus, it’s said this the original fudge shop on Mackinac Island in Michigan. I wasn’t able to resist the special buy two get the third for half price. Looks like I need to eat within two weeks or I can freeze up to six months. I bought the salted carmel fudge, pecan fudge, and peanut butter fudge. All are wonderful choices.

The store wasn’t too busy, however I felt a little rushed when making my purchase by the sales associate. I may have changed my order if I had been given more time. For now I’ll be satisfied with my purchase.

Always has to stop by and try their fresh fudge when visiting the island.

I will always stan Murdicks! I grew up in MI, and even now in a different state I'm ordering a five slice box for my friends to try. I tell them all theres no fudge better, and Murdicks is top of the top.

Not much variety at this specific location which was surprising since it says it’s the original. The staff were super unfriendly and made it known that the family split up so half the Murdick’s are not connected anymore. The way this store operates you can tell the other part of the family must be the better half.

I get a 5 piece box for my mother every year. NEVER disappoints - even if i pick a flavor she doen's like(MOM y you u no like peanut butter????) she shares with family and friends and is very happy to do so. Mom is over 90 and still giggles when a box arrives. Love it!!

The bourbon maple is beyond gross!! And the piece I got was so hard...they shouldn't sell fudge that isn't fresh ....what a disappointmentment....boooooo!!!

Wanted to send something special from Michigan to family in Denver, decided on the Signature box of fudge. It was a huge hit, they all said it was the best fudge they had ever had! I was visiting them when it arrived, and it was just as fresh as when you shop in the store! Ordered online in early morning, and had a FedEx tracking number later on the same business day. Highly recommend!!!

This fudge is so good!!! If I owned a speedboat I would pull off some cool fudge robberies. Jk, but this is the best fudge on the island. Joann’s has nothing on Murdicks. 🍫👍

I sent the five piece fudge custom box to my stepdaughter and her family for Christmas and was surprised to learn that she actually had visited your store on the island years ago. She immediately contacted me to tell me all about her visit to your store and how much she loved your fudge. Anyone can make fudge [almost] but not just anyone can make really, really really, really [tired yet?] good, yummy, delicious, creamy, gimmee some more, that get out of bed and sneak one more sliver x 5 times, was gonna share but ate it all and I might exercise later.. kind of fudge but Original Murdicks does! The absolute BEST fudge. We flew into Mackinac island twice this year and both times left with a bag of fudge from this amazing shop. The last time we visited was Wednesday 10/25. We don’t know that everything would be closed. We had the pleasure of meeting Bob. He saved the day. Thank you again!!

Worker was annoyed and short with us when we ordered. We asked if they sold 1/2 bars and she said “Nope.”. The whole process she couldn’t have been less enthused. Should have left but bought some bars anyway. The flavor was nice for each one - so my only complaint is the service.

Absolutely love their fudge and flavors but 2nd time buying the taffy ..wont make that mistake 3 times. Its melty and doesn't harden,sticks to paper really bad and all the taffy tastes the same regardless of the color. Even refrigerating doesn't make it taffy consistency. Taffy is a 1 star with me but fudge is definitely always 5 stars.
