We have come here every year for the last 16 years and it was once a nice place! Will never ever stop in there again! Terrible everything, especially the staff.
One of the oldest buildings in Michigan dating back to the 1780’s. Food and apps are killer! Service is great food comes out quick and hot. The ambience of the building is really cool. Military and law-enforcement discount. Super veteran and law-enforcement friendly. This is a great American establishment in one of the oldest Michigan buildings! I truly look forward to coming here every single year we’re on vacation! This is a staple on our trip!
the food was not good. our perch, shrimp, hush puppies and onion rings were over fried. we couldn't eat most of our baskets.
the fried cheese curds were good but not the ramulade sause.
the duck wontons should be served with salsa not terryaki sause and called empanadas.
our server just shrugged his shoulders at our complaint about over cooked hard food, too hard to chew food. not worth the cost. we won't come back. not a good anniversary meal at all.
