I loved the location, the artsy feel there and the merchandise and food/beverage product were fine. But it was August and there were bees EVERYWHERE! They were outside so we couldn't enjoy our coffee on one of the cute little bistro tables. But worse, there were bees inside the food windows inside the restaurant and you could see them landing on food and yet they were still open with a line out the door. It was disgusting so we left and ate somewhere else! It might be Mackinac Island during its busiest part of the season, but they are still accountable to the state health department for sakes. Pretty sure if the MI HHS had paid a visit that day they would have at least been shut down temporarily until they made some kind of effort to keep flying insects away from the food and customers!

Customer service is horrible. I had a really bad experience here with my family. My young daughter and I ordered off the new fall menu, hers was good mine was horrid, undrinkable. I asked if they could make me something else I was laughed at and was told “but that is what you ordered”. Not offered a Refund either. Just being eye rolls and laughter from the staff. So I threw the $8 drink away right in front of her. Next time I won’t choose local, I will go to Starbucks because they remake drinks if you don’t like them. How am I supposed to know if I don’t like something on your new fall menu?

Horrible customer service. I ordered a coffee drink off their special fall menu it was awful. Undrinkable. They would not remake me something else. Wouldn’t refund. So I will not return. Won’t recommend. Shame on me for going local. Starbucks all the way. They will remake a drink if you don’t like it and it’s cheaper.

I ordered the Avocado toast with seasoning and Decaffeinated coffee. The food was great! Quick service. The bathroom was the cleanest public bathroom I have ever seen! The staff was okay. You get the vibe that it's just a job to the the employees working there.

Busy spot in the busy area of the island. Seating inside is a hit or miss so keep that in mind. This is our go to spot for ice cream, it’s soooo good! Only thing is the line tends to be long, the workers are always rushing you and not the kindest, but the ice cream is worth it just be patient and know what you want!

Unfortunately, though the food was very good the service was HORRENDOUS. The servers working the counter were rude and joked about their customers with them standing a few feet away. They gave attitude and were nasty when THEY messed up an order. 10/10 don’t recommend coming here. The atmosphere gives Dicks Last Resort.

Every staff was so short and very rude. Had attitude for every question or anything me and my husband ordered. We said thank you (even after they were rude to us) after they gave us our order and they would respond with “mhmm”. SO RUDEE AND UNPROFESSIONAL

Way overpriced for the quality. Do not get their coffee. Food wasn’t terrible but the coffee was. Definitely a stop & go spot but just get your coffee at Starbucks. 1 tiny packet of cream cheese or peanut butter for your cold $8 bagel is kind of crazy
