I got an iced mocha with espresso shot and it had a strong flavor and was tasty along with a sugar doughnut. What i liked about the doughnut is that it was the kind with dough in the middle like a traditional doughnut, unlike the airy hollow ones you might get at Dunkin. The bathroom was clean too which is no easy task given the busy environment of the island. Keep up the good work cashier Collin.

I really tried to give this place many chances this summer season as I liked the name, atmosphere and it is one of the few cafes on the island. But the workers here are SO RUDE! Especially the younger girl with braids and glasses. My drink was decent, but mostly tasted of milk. There are much better cafes on Mackinac Island. Try Lucky Bean, Watercolor or Starbucks. Avoid this place at all costs. Not worth MY hard earned money to be treated this horribly. Never again.

Food is bad, employees unenthusiastic, atmosphere garbage. They charge you $10 hard earned American dollars for eggo waffles. Or you can get the mid bagel sandwich for $13. It delights your taste buds with old avocados, a glob of dry pesto, and an untoasted kroger branded bagel. Also the playlist is ripped straight out of a middle school dance.

I’m sad to say that I’ve visited this place each year for the last 5 years, and this year my favorite item was removed from their menu. I checked their website to be sure they still had the item but when I walked in, the posted menu was different.

Every single employee has the worst attitude to every customer. It was insane to experience personally and witness to others. We were so uncomfortable standing there as they rudely directed customers to move, not smiling at anyone, or offering any entry level customer service politeness. Also, the employee ignored the request for non dairy on two of our parties orders. You can tell they hate their job.
Dietary restrictions: Double check for your non dairy request as they likely will forget.

I like the name of this cafe and the Avocado toast was pretty good. I think the sausage was a bit too sweet and the coffee as well. They also have ice cream, which is neat.
But for $10.99, I expected to get two pieces of toast as I have at other restaurants, but there was only one.
I didn't care for the lattes, but maybe the coffee is better.
Service was really kind, although the employees were behind the counter on their phones and ear buds.

Cute place. Was pretty busy when we went. No samples which was off putting for an ice cream shop with homemade ice cream. I am a huge cherry ice cream fan so I got the cherry moobile, can't recommend. I couldn't even finish it. Only redeeming quality was the waffle cone. For the price point of one scoop in a waffle cone being $8, definitely wouldn't recommend.

Even though the server scooping our ice cream seemed annoyed of us 😅 for just being customers and asking for 2 icecreams.. I will say.. we loved loved our milkshake and icecream. We were excited to see they offer fresh sandwiches, too! (Good to know for our next trip) I would absolutely walk the extra 5 minutes towards the end of the street for their icecream! So many options like icecream cookies, milkshakes, and cones.
The Apple Pie chai was something I was excited to try and it was terrible (and expensive.) The worst part was, when I asked for a regular chai instead, as most places will honor a customer’s bad experience with something else, instead of stating quietly, “no, I’m sorry, we can’t do that,” she loudly and angrily exclaimed for the whole restaurant to hear, “So I’m just supposed to make you something new because you don’t like it?” I was absolutely mortified. What an awful experience. ZERO stars.

It is ludicrous that they charge an extra dollar for an extra cup. We only want it to prevent our 5-year old from creating a mess. You've already made plenty of profit from overpriced ice cream. No need to take advantage of the cups too. First time we've ever been charged for a cup and we are full time travelers that buy plenty of ice cream in tourist areas.
