Sat out on their boardwalk and ordered small plates & drinks. Super relaxing, service was fantastic & snacks were delicious.

Great for a quick bite. The burger was tasty but the hotdogs were ok.

Only got a hot dog but it was as good as I get at the ballpark.

The outdoor location is nice for watching the waves. The pricing is low for Mackinac Island. However, when we went, they were running out of most of their menu. They also ran out of ketchup, which is peculiar for a hot dog place. I recommend sticking to the dogs and brats, as the hamburger was literally just a patty on a bun. The Detroit-style dog was good.

A fantastic location. The food is decent—the main selling point is the location on the water and the fact that the food is very affordable compared to the rest of the restaurants on the island. Unfortunately they never seem to be open when we visit the island lately. There is always a sign saying they’ll open at 11 AM, but it never opens. It’s very frustrating.

We biked the whole island and ended right at the park and opted to grab hot dogs and burgers since this seemed like a really cheap option considering everything on Mackinac is so expensive. Sometimes, you get what you pay for. Attendant took order no problem, I ordered no drinks mind you, and it took a good 20-30 min to get our simple hot dogs and burgers(think Sam's club pack of 20 burgers with cheese on a bun for $7-8), no lettuce or tomato. They were very crowded at the time and just kept taking orders while the wait line kept getting longer and longer. They do have some interesting hot dog selections which may be a great cheap option to feed a large family. I'm disappointed we wasted time eating such mediocre food when there were so many great other places to eat lunch.

This hotel is overrated and over priced. The room was cramped and old. It smelled like dirty socks. The breakfast was a joke. The front desk woman was rude and could barely get out of her chair to answer one simple question. The WiFi was terrible. The towels were cheap and smelled like bleach. Will never stay here again.

Delicious!!! Got a hamburger and a sugarloaf hotdog. Both were delicious. Fast service and staff was very friendly. Plenty of picnic tables to enjoy a nice lunch in the sun and listen to the waves. Highly recommend and will definitely come back

We made a stop for lunch after biking around the island. My hotdog was excellent. The bun kind of fell apart but I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Nice classic Mackinac Island Hotel, great location a few hundred feet from Star Line dock #2 which we used from St. Ignace. Our two queen room was spacious and comfortable, the beds were very firm which my wife didn’t enjoy as much as me. We had a view of the garden and partial street. Porch was fantastic, particularly for morning sun. Bathroom was modern and great water pressure. Check in and out was easy. Small things kept it from a 5. No fridge, which was not great for leftovers, no TV - but did stream from wifi. The ceiling leaked into the bathroom and the area around our toilet was soaked. When I reported this it was said that had been happening since May (a few times) and I think they should have figured that out after the first couple times. At least it wasn’t toilet water. We would return.
