whoever "mom" is, we love you.
we love this establishment and the hospitality it provided us.
we frequent the area often and took our friends and employees on a trip up north to see the leaves and lights.
I get bad anxiety in vehicles so we stopped here to get a drink before I made the long haul to the UP. My ex-husband gave us limited time but when we got there it was jamming.

I stayed at a B&B in Mackinaw City over Labor Day weekend and ate dinner here twice and breakfast on Labor Day. The atmosphere is very nice, the dinners were excellent and I was very impressed with how they prepared and handled serving breakfast in as fast and timely a manner as possible when 33,000 walkers descend on the city for Labor Day! Was met at door by an older woman with a very poor attitude at the Chippewa. Audie’s served us well. Older woman chased us off. Lady at door of Chippewa should be moved to kitchen staff. Not a people person. She ask one of the wait staff to “Deal with them”.
