My favorite restaurant here. Always great service... Rick the waiter was slammed we had a party of 12. Edgar the manager came over took our drink orders. Helped out until Rick could get free. 5 Star service and food here. Highly recommend this establishment

How does this place remain open? We started with burchetta which turned out to be a giant bowl of mostly tasteless tomatoes with a flick of vinaigrette and half a basil leaf. They provide enough bread for a 1/3 of the tomatoes. I ordered seafood risotto and my girlfriend ordered seafood portofino. Both turned out to be a pile of overcooked rubber calamari that was somehow mushy at the same time. The sauce was the consistency of tap water and had about the same amount of flavor. The shrimp was no better. Nearly half of my muscle and clam shells were empty. However, I mentioned this to the waiter and wasn't charged for my meal. Every restaurant in Mackinac City owned by a certain family is garbage. If you don't know already, just save yourself the trouble and go to the Keyhole or Audie's. They're the best restaurants uo there.

We loved the ambiance and look of the restaurant. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs that he loved, and I had lasagna that was delicious! Portions were generous. My red sangria was yummy! Would definitely come back here again!!

Our food was amazing. I ordered the gorganzola steak and my husband ordered the Tuscan Tour (Alfredo, Lasagna, Chicken Parm) we both enjoyed our dishes, and our service from our waiter Arickae was great. He was super polite and quick with getting our order and food. Towards the end of our experience a group came in with a service dog and it appeared that their waitstaff was not polite and either refused service or made inappropriate comments regarding their SERVICE animal. The dog was well groomed and well behaved and it was obviously a service animal, not someone being a pain. It was quite off putting to see the couple experience illegal discrimination due to their disability. Thankfully the couple stood up for themselves, and our server was quick to get us the bill after we requested it. I'd have loved to give the place 5 stars for the amazing service and food, but it seems some of the staff need a lesson on the ADA, and how to treat people with kindness and respect.

The food left us disappointed, my wife's Gnocci was very bland and my Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo was also very bland. For the price point I expected a higher quality food experience. Service was promt and courteous. Would pass on going back.

Didn't stay long enough to try the food, the place is highly priced for everything, you just get the entree and have to pay $7-8 to get a side salad, the service was terrible, just gave us water, and didn't ask what we wanted to drink or tell us a special nothing, just downright rude the time, barely spoke English, so it was hard to translate. The inside was super cool probably the only good thing about the place, you'd be better off going to Mackinac Island or across the bridge to get food service for a good price

The whole experience was awful. It was hard to get any help from anyone, and as soon as you walked in, I noticed every single customer was confused about where to go. Instead of having someone at the door to greet everyone. The guy helping us was very rude and should not be working in customer service. We waited an hour for our takeout order. I would have rated 1 star, but the kitchen added a star. After the hour wait the food still was pretty decent. The portions are way oversized just so they can charge 25 a meal it's not worth it.

Went in there around 9pm, with so less customers the service absolutely awful, no one came to take our order for 20-25 mins ultimately we had to ask someone to take our order. I ordered a fettuccine Alfredo and the pasta was so undercooked that I could not chew it and the when pointed out this to my server, he says it is supposed to that way, how is that possible. The pizza was decent, bruschetta was awful too.
It took them so much time to even get me the cheque, so awful.
Do not waste time here, it is just the hype.

The place is beautiful but the dinning experience was terrible.. we never got silverware, food was delayed by 45 mins and many dishes forgotten and the most expensive dish on the menu was a dry fish

Ordered a wood fired pizza. The waiter was up front that do to the number of people it may take longer than normal. It didn’t take too long. Our waiter was Clyde. He was exceptional and friendly. He came at the perfect number of times and was always ready with a friendly smile. Our pizza was amazing! The best I have ever had. The atmosphere was rustic and beautiful!

I ordered a pizza to my hotel while staying in Makinaw city. I was told the pizza would take two hours and it took over 3. Upon placing my order I was told I would get a call when the delivery driver was here. The delivery driver didn’t call and so I didn’t receive my order the first time they came. I called and they said it would be redelivered. It came 30 minutes more later and it was cold and honestly the worst pizza I’ve ever had. It was bland and greasy and cold. After being told it was remade. I don’t believe it was remade. I wouldn’t order from this business’s again. Some of the worst service and food I’ve had.

Food was extremely expensive for what you received. Small portions, ok food, hard bread sticks. Server came to check on us once and never removed empty plates.
Decor is beautiful.
