Oh My Goodness! If you are in Mackinaw City and you dont eat here you are missing the best food in town. Beer was good but the food was amazing. By far top 5 restaurants I have ever dined at. So so good. I could not recommend enough. We have other restaurants in town that we want to try before we head home, but we have seriously talked about just going back to Rusted Spoke again instead.

Great food and waiter! Had the Deep Blue Sea flat bread. It was awesome! Steak bites are great, too! We have been here a few times and always had great food and service.

This place has a "home town" vibe in a tourist town. Prices are very fair and reasonable, almost a good deal. The staff is amazing, bartenders are friendly, knowledgeable and a delight to have a conversation with. The smoked wings were perfect, the meatballs spot on. This will be the only place I come to from here on out, it just feels right. Oh and the house beers are all so tasty. Order a couple flights and try them all.

Parking: There is a Tesla charging station right across the street that will charge non Tesla vehicles.

Good Beer and BBQ

We came here on Friday the 19th. The food was delicious, the beer selection was excellent, and the service was great. Should have come back here on the 20th. That day, we went to the Dixie Saloon and listened as the wait staff badmouthed each other, the hostess was kinda rude, and we saw a manager sent a woman home (and probably fired her).

Here at the Rusted Spoke, everyone seemed genuinely okay and friendly.

Online wait-list system cut down on our wait time but we didn't get a text saying our table was ready so this caused some confusion. Other than the the ambience of the place was great and so were the service, food, and drinks. The portions were generous.

Does not get much better than great beer and good food. Throw in relaxing vibes and cool atmosphere. With a diverse menu they can pull off and nightly specials that can be hard to beat. Price to quantity ratio is dead on. Very impressed with the BBQ combo plate.

The waiter in the Miami dolphins Jersey was rude but helpful, we asked him to split our checks so we each paid for what we ordered and instead he rolled his eyes and scoffed then spilt it evenly four ways.

First timer for this place. These folks work hard to make a pleasant atmosphere and a great meal. I don’t know how they do it all. I had a steak and it was one of the best ever. Waitresses was friendly and knowledgeable. And on the ball.. good to see there are still places where people actually care.

Everything about this place is great. Great beer, great food, and great service. We come any time we're in Mackinaw City and are always delighted with spectacular service. The brisket and pork in many of the dishes is smoked right outside and this pit boss knows what he's doing! The brisket Mac n cheese was divine.

Ordered a Reuben, Philly Cheesesteak, and BBQ totchos. The BBQ was ok, the other 2 a total disappointment. They are 2 of our favorite sandwiches and these fell very flat.

I've never had cream of carrot soup and to be honest, it doesn't sound all that appealing but I said yes. The texture and taste was spot on for a great soup. The rest of the lunch was awesome as well.
This is a little off topic of food but the server had some awesome Nintendo tattoos and he and everyone else was pleasant. I look forward to stopping here every time we arrive in town and they never disappoint! Highly recommended.
