The food was simply incredible. It was incredibly authentic, the service was excellent, and the laid-back atmosphere was perfect. And let’s not forget the great food!

We ordered the goat curry, and it was absolutely delicious. I can already imagine myself returning to this restaurant again.

Nice cheery place. I had the curry chicken wrap which was good bu overshadowed by the sweet potato fries. Seriously the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had-big wedges which were perfectly crisp on outside and soft inside.

We are from the Caribbean and initially I was skeptical that Michigan would have good Jamaican food. Went in based on the reviews and I’ll say it didn’t disappoint at all. We had curry goat, oxtail and jerk chicken. The dishes were delicious, portions aren’t bad for the price and packed flavor!

This is quality authentic Jamaican food. Tonight I had coconut curry chicken..superb! I am working in this city for a month and have eaten here every night. All three wait staff are excellent and are excellent with suggestions just tell them what you are use to so they can pair best. Tomorrow, Andrew suggested Oxtail and will follow.

An amazing find. A taste of Jamaica in Mackinac City. We were four hungry people after a long day outdoors and found this spot as it showed up with vegan and veggie friendly options. Twas just what the doctor ordered and every person was happy at the end of the day. Thank you!

Jerk chicken burger was a burnt patty that im not even sure if it was chicken lol basically a bun with lettuce and tomato. My fiance took 1 bite of the fish and chips and we both decided we would pack it up. Do not recommend unfortunately

I recently visited Mackinaw City and googled vegan options. Di Island came up with good reviews. The food was fantastic, the service great and loved the atmosphere. I was back the next day with my daughter and grandkids. I especially loved the curried tofu with veggies, with a side of rice and beans. I highly recommend!!

I recently visited Mackinaw city and discovered Di Island. I had the curried tofu with a side of beans and rice!! So good I was back the next day. I highly recommend Di Island, Great food and super friendly staff!!
