Disgusting prices for mediocre food at best. Single-portion meals are priced nearing 20 dollars.
In collaboration with the local hotels, there are BOGO options for about 4 choices on the menu.
Wait staff seemed quite uncaring, and inconvienced when asked for amenities. Service took a quite long time, despite a general empty house. The waitress did not come to check up, and was had to be flagged down to ask for drink refills, and the inevitable check.
The atmosphere was consistenly ruined by music from the kitchen, and clattering of dishes being dumped into bins in close proximity with the dining room - leaving our party having to pause conversation to wait for the noise to quiet down.
Utilizing the hotel given BOGO forced payment via card, rather than cash.
The physical construction of the resturaunt was fine - and gave a generally 'nice' atmosphere when the mood was quiet..However rare that was.
Head out of the main tourist trap in efforts of finding a good meal, at acceptable prices, with wonderful waitstaff. Darrow's isnt far away, and provides a 5* experience.

Very unpleasant place to dine for breakfast. Staff felt uncaring, kitchen was playing music loud enough to disturb the atmosphere in the dining area, and the food was disgusingly overpriced for the serving sizes and quality. Staying in the hotels neaby will net you a "buy one get one" coupon for ~4 items on the meal menu, which are so expensive that you'd be able to get similar meals for the same price as the bogo anywhere else in town. Very unimpressed

This place wont be in business long with the current staff....what do they care...the place closes for winter and they collect unemployment.
Waitress cannot handle more than one table at a time and goes over an edge when a second cup of coffee is requested befor you pay the bill to her specifically as she stated adamently befor that second cup ever made it to the table. She belongs in a carnival food truck....not in a restaurant. Its sad to see the money that could be made ( atmosphere)wasted away completely by incompetence and ignorance of the current staff. Id fire them all and start new(with uniforms....not pajama tshirts and dirty denim skirts) this next season.
And to the owner.....youre wasting your money away not paying attention to details! Lotta money spent on that building....the return on your investment is dwindling fast!
Regarding the coupons for half off your meal from the hotel across the road......you should gather those up and destroy them. When i presented that coupon you would have thought i was trying to rob the waitress. Was then told it didnt apply to what we ordered yet there was no differentiating on the menu as to what applied or did not. What i ate was good when i finally got it but the service could not have gotten any worse. -Worst ever!!-

Breakfast was bad , customer service was rude
It is too pricey and the coupons hotel gave doesn't work even though in the new it is mentioned that coupons work for items under * because the portion is too high. Then they should have mentioned that in the menu or the members should specify
Doesn't recommend this place

I would give negative 100 if I could. The WORST place I have ever eaten in, ever. Had breakfast there October 13, 2024: 2 adults, 2 kids. HORRIBLE is a light word. It was NOT coffee-brown lukewarm water, orange water was presented as orange juice for the kids. French toast was some cheap mushy substance. Eggs were tasteless- cheapest eggs.
90$ for 4. Had to walk to Starbucks to get coffee.
The owners of this place should be grossly ashamed of their business. This place felt like an assault on human stomach, mood and morning spirit.
Shame.

We arrived at about 7:30 a.m..
The waitress informed us they were out of eggs Benedict. Right away.
We decided to order ham and cheese omelets. Was told they were out of ham and swiss cheese. Wife got coffee. That was very very nasty and watered down.
I looked at the reviews ahead of time and I guess I should have stuck to the reviews.
Never going back

The waitress was rude to every table. We let her know we wanted separate checks for 3 of us at the beginning and she refused. She also refused to take cash payment for another table because they used a coupon. We had tried this place based on information from the hotel and what seemed like a good coupon. The coupon was only valid on 4 options on the whole menu but it didn't say that on it. Food itself was average but not worth the price.

This place is disgusting! The menus are not cleaned up. Tables are all falling apart. The staff is completely rude not even giving you a greeting upon your entrance. The food is not even hot when you get it. The food is extremely expensive for the lack of professionalism and courtesy and manners. I would highly advise that you stay away from this ridiculously overpriced disgusting falling apart restaurant.

The wait staff are not performing their jobs well, hardly paying attention to the customers coming in and resorting to berating them over seating. The food was overpriced for such sub-standard portions, I could get more filling food for cheaper at MCDONALD'S of all places. The music blaring from someone's speaker in the kitchen was really the cherry on top of the cake for this overall terrible experience.

The mere thought of this place sends me going into a fit of rage. TWENTY. DOLLARS. For BREAKFAST. How this place is still in business is beyond me. The kitchen staff play the most obnoxious, loud music on the lower peninsula and the staff do NOT care for your wellbeing. I advise any true patriot to STEER CLEAR of this place.

Overpriced. The wait staff was nice and friendly. But the prices are a tad bit high. I'm sure it's just part of the transitory inflation Janet Yellin promised.

I arrived at five min to 7am when they were supposed to open. The front door was locked and I was waiting outside in the pouring rain in a puddle in the middle of their doorway. I waited patiently till about 7:05 and then knocked on the door as I saw an employee sitting in the back behind a pillar. The employee looked over at me and just waved her hand with an "I don't know gesture". I didn't understand what that meant and then she walked off somewhere. After another 5 minutes she came back to her pillar she looked at me and a coworker who was now with me and ignored me and just sat down again. I finally knocked harder to get her attention to ask why they weren't opening the door and she proceeded to talk as though I could hear and understand her from the 50 to 60 feet distance between us and through closed doors. I made an "I can't hear you gesture" and she got a little closer and I made out something to the tune of "I'm not a manager and I don't have the key". This all could have been avoided and come off as less rude if she could have just walked over to the door at 7am and communicated that instead of playing "let's ignore the customer standing in the pouring rain". I didn't get a chance to try the food but if the atmosphere and service inside is reflected in any way of how I was treated while still outside, then it's a pass.
