“I scheduled a Celebration of Life event on Wednesday afternoon July 13th, reserving one of the 2 private rooms that are available for gatherings. I gave a $100 deposit which was later subtracted from the total bill.. so there was no charge for the room. The large room holds up to 100 people, we were in the smaller room, having a guest list of 23. My guests raved about the food and our server Rebecca. She did a Great job, very attentive, and friendly. Thanks also to Jackie, and the rest of the staff. Kudos to the kitchen! The Salmon and Chicken Marsala were very popular that afternoon and cooked to perfection. Thank you Aspen for making my event so special!! My comment to Donna, the manager, you can certainly be proud of the way this restaurant functions. Relaxed atmosphere, professional employees, great food.....”

“came in here two weeks ago doing a doordash and id thought id take my family to breakfast i unfortunately didnt know the waitresses name but she was AMAZING she made sure to give us extra napkins when we got our drinks super friendly and absolutely great food i had biscuits and gravy and it feels like it was made just at home but way better my mother had french toast that was amazing she said its not to quiet nor to loud the place is very clean i will be definitely coming back here!! great work!!”

They generously donated ice cream for the Dakota Football team’s annual tailgate, keeping our boys cool on a 90-degree day. We are beyond thankful for their kindness and support—it means so much to all of us! 💙🏈🍦 On top of that, Scoop and Twist is the only place we trust for hard scooped ice cream. As a family with kids who have nut allergies, it’s priceless to know how careful they are. They keep nut and non-nut ice creams completely separate and never use the same scooper. They truly think of everything and everyone, and it shows how much they care. We love supporting this locally owned gem, and we’ll keep coming back again and again. “Love your sandwiches and I get them at least once a week! But so disappointed today :(. Drive to my normal location on hall and Hayes and found out they were closed for remodeling. So drove to Macomb location. I normally pay close attention while subs are made to correct issues but today I was getting pushed into paying before my subs were made. Sadly I got home and it was wrong :(. Ordered three subs total. 2 of three were not what was requested. ie wrong bread, missing mikes way dressing etc. one of the kids subs was completely smashed. it was obvious new employees were working and I’m not totally blaming them. Moving forward I will make sure I watch my sandwiches being made and wont get rushed to the register. I paid a lot for these sandwiches and expect to get what I ordered.”

What we ordered was more than enough food for both of us, so lots of leftover potential. Wish they did dine in as well, but take out works just as fine. Will come again.”

Don't be fooled by the plain appearance of the outside stop in for great food. Fish and Chips is the best and they have been know for it for decades. Also burgers are top notch. Prices are still reasonable.
Take the time to check out this long lived Macomb Co. Local favorite.”

“First time there,, will not go back. The fried shrimp hard as heck. Shrimp the big one's was so much batter the shrimp was so small in the batter. Egg roll was alright. My husband's pepper steak dinner was ok, veggies was soft and chrunchy. We shouldn't have to $50 for terrible food.”

“I usually don’t do reviews but I had to do this one. I just left this place from working a 10 hour shift i just wanted some coffee and a sandwich. The guy at the window was so rude I don’t know if he was the manager or one of the workers, but he was rude to his coworkers as well and he started being rude to me. I just thought y’all should know. I really wanted to say more, but thank God for who he is and how far he brought me from. I just asked a question about my coffee. He got rude. Just thought y’all should know that the service there in the atmosphere was not there this morning, but I’m learning not to let people take me out of my character. “Ordered Hungry Howie's for my daughter's graduation party, She had requested it after being impressed at a school event that they catered. Staff helped me set up the order a week in advance and plan for the right amount of food. The pizza was a hit and I was thoroughly impressed! The catering salad looked way too good to come from a pizza place and the driver even helped set things up. Made a fan out of me!”

“I went there today really early and honestly I expected them to be a little grumpy, but they were absolutely wonderful and going above and beyond. I'm extremely happy with my service and the cups are super strong, I dropped mine like twice on accident and it stayed intact through everything and kept all the coffee, I'm super impressed with the strength of the cup!!”

“Everything was really good — super fresh and hot. I actually liked that I had to wait a bit because I could hear the food being cooked in the back. It made me happy knowing it wasn’t something handed to me in three minutes.

The beef isn’t wagyu, but it was definitely tender and flavorful. I ordered the steak with noodles and the orange chicken with fried rice. The orange chicken was really good — tender pieces, smaller than the usual big chunks you see elsewhere, but packed with flavor.

Overall, I was really impressed and I’ll definitely be coming back.”
