“I scheduled a Celebration of Life event on Wednesday afternoon July 13th, reserving one of the 2 private rooms that are available for gatherings. I gave a $100 deposit which was later subtracted from the total bill.. so there was no charge for the room. The large room holds up to 100 people, we were in the smaller room, having a guest list of 23. My guests raved about the food and our server Rebecca. She did a Great job, very attentive, and friendly. Thanks also to Jackie, and the rest of the staff. Kudos to the kitchen! The Salmon and Chicken Marsala were very popular that afternoon and cooked to perfection. Thank you Aspen for making my event so special!! My comment to Donna, the manager, you can certainly be proud of the way this restaurant functions. Relaxed atmosphere, professional employees, great food.....”

“We catered our daughter's bridal shower with The Coney Grille. Dave helped us plan the menu to stay on budget and everyone enjoyed the food! There was plenty of food! We have used them for catering for many years and they never disappoint! Our bridal luncheon included chicken salad, croissants, lettuce, tomatoes, spinach pie, and a garden salad. Delicious! Dave even worked with us on a couple of dietary restrictions. I highly recommend them for your next event!”

“Our food was delicious and the portions were large! We were there for breakfast. Prices are about average for these days. And considering my omelet was enough for two meals, it was worth it.

Our table was very sticky when we sat down. Staff seemed a little perturbed when we asked them to clean it.

They generously donated ice cream for the Dakota Football team’s annual tailgate, keeping our boys cool on a 90-degree day. We are beyond thankful for their kindness and support—it means so much to all of us! 💙🏈🍦 On top of that, Scoop and Twist is the only place we trust for hard scooped ice cream. As a family with kids who have nut allergies, it’s priceless to know how careful they are. They keep nut and non-nut ice creams completely separate and never use the same scooper. They truly think of everything and everyone, and it shows how much they care. We love supporting this locally owned gem, and we’ll keep coming back again and again. “Love your sandwiches and I get them at least once a week! But so disappointed today :(. Drive to my normal location on hall and Hayes and found out they were closed for remodeling. So drove to Macomb location. I normally pay close attention while subs are made to correct issues but today I was getting pushed into paying before my subs were made. Sadly I got home and it was wrong :(. Ordered three subs total. 2 of three were not what was requested. ie wrong bread, missing mikes way dressing etc. one of the kids subs was completely smashed. it was obvious new employees were working and I’m not totally blaming them. Moving forward I will make sure I watch my sandwiches being made and wont get rushed to the register. I paid a lot for these sandwiches and expect to get what I ordered.”

Warm comfortable interior to play a game or bet on the lotto.
Don't be fooled by the plain appearance of the outside stop in for great food. Fish and Chips is the best and they have been know for it for decades. Also burgers are top notch. Prices are still reasonable.
Take the time to check out this long lived Macomb Co. Local favorite.”

“Ordered Hungry Howie's for my daughter's graduation party, She had requested it after being impressed at a school event that they catered. Staff helped me set up the order a week in advance and plan for the right amount of food. The pizza was a hit and I was thoroughly impressed! The catering salad looked way too good to come from a pizza place and the driver even helped set things up. Made a fan out of me!”

“I went there today really early and honestly I expected them to be a little grumpy, but they were absolutely wonderful and going above and beyond. I'm extremely happy with my service and the cups are super strong, I dropped mine like twice on accident and it stayed intact through everything and kept all the coffee, I'm super impressed with the strength of the cup!!”

“The workers here don’t get paid enough for the way they get treated. Almost everytime I’m in I see customers continuously being rude to them and I can only imagine how exhausting it is.
