After visiting Kaua’i this year my husband and I fell in love with the fresh fish and the poke bowls that were ubiquitous there. Since we’ve been back we’ve been looking out for a place that would serve something similar. Tamago is that place. We got the volcano bowls and they were so good!!!! Plus they wrote us a nice note on our packaging. We will definitely be back!
Tamago is the real deal. The sushi is consistently fresh and well-made you can tell there's actual care going into it, not just assembly line rolls. Prices are genuinely reasonable for the quality, which is rare. And the staff are warm and attentive without hovering; they made us feel like regulars on the first visit. Easy recommendation.
Wow! They have a great variety of sushi and bowls. Very clean, no sitting room to eat just grab and go. Highly recommend the chicken popcorn bowl with rice. They threw in some miso soup. Also delicious. Would go back again.
