The closest fresh seafood place to me. They have quite a selection but you have to take your time and look for what you're shopping for... it's mostly labeled in Chinese. Language barriers are going to hinder you, but it's SO worth a it!!

Store was clean, well lit, had what I needed. The checkout clerk told me they had a $10.00 minimum order, but I could buy some more food to meet the minimum. I told him I didn't need anything more, so I left the store without my order. Amazon took care of my yacai and noodles, so I won't be returning.

Warning; check expiration dates before you buy something. Why are all 3 pejoy biscuits I bought expired ?. One expired back in 2022, a YEAR ago, and the other two have been expired for months. This is not my first time buying expired food from here either, a hard lesson learned :( Why are expired food items still being sold?Highly recommend kim nhung or 168 asian market, they sell edible non-expired food and have a larger selection. Kim nhung has great staff as well.

The girls' cashiers at this place are always rude, ignorant, and unprofessional. I'm always trying to show support toward small, family owned businesses like China Town Market. I'd been to the store many times, but never once, these people greeted their customers or showed any appreciation. But, they sure know how to yell at the customer for not wanting to pay for old mushy bruised up fruits. So I was buying a case of mangoes and I wanted to swap the bruised up mushy one cause they were pretty bad, plus I don't want to and I shouldn't have to pay for some things that is no good. All suddenly, this one girl came in yelling so loud at me like a mad girl and demanded me to take them as they are. She was talking about if customers keep swapping it, then they'll end up with a whole bunch of mass-up mangoes that nobody wants it. "Like, that's my fault and my problem, little girl!" Then, while I was paying for the fruits in another register, this girl ran over to the counter and started counting the mangoes. She thought I probably took extra fruits and added them to mine. Me, just standed there and watched her making a fool of herself. "Any day now!" They are very lucky I needed the mangoes, and 168 was out of stock. Otherwise, I would have dropped everything and walked out.I also have families that shop at this place and had also been treated rudely too.

They sell expired food with artificial dye that may harm your health!!! I bought two bags of Lycium 枸杞 from China Town Market at 31722 John R Rd a few weeks ago. After using a couple of times, I found the product was already expired on March 25, 2022 (see attached photo 1)! That’s is over a year ago!!! Moreover, the product uses artificial dye (see attached photo 2)! Avoid this store for your health and safety!!!
