Stopped by to look at some pork belly as I needed to get some. While the pork belly they offered were good, I was looking for thicker cuts, which they did not have. So I walked around the store to see what they had. While majority of the items were Chinese products, they did carry vast amount of Asian products. Definitely would stop by again.
Lots of selection in Asian foods.
Garvin has been an extraordinary help in finding some of our Chinatown staples here in Detroit. There are quite a few good Asian markets in the John R strip... BUT this one is still a family owned Chinese specialty grocer.
Love their fresh fish and poultry. Their grouper we had scaled for us from the whole fish. Their aromatic greens, mustard, mint, Chinese spinach are the best salads. Love their frozen steam bun selection. Need a specialty item ask for Garvin.
