The Great Lakes whitefish ~ pan seared, topped with herb compound butter and paired with Parmesan risotto was exceptional! The chocolate mouse was delicious. Nice window view. Excellent service. Highly recommend.

The whole experience was weird. We were in town for the tree lighting. So, expected places to be busy. Over 10 tables open just on the main floor, bar tables etc not considered. What I thought was the floor manager...Who wasn't btw, kept asking other staff if we could make seating for two happen....like what? So after that weirdness we get seated and the ambiance is nice. But again...double digit open tables remained the entire time we ate there. Not sure why there was such hesitation in seating the three groups of 2 that came in at the same time as us. The food, was hit and miss. French onion soup, Excellent. Korean steak, lame. Hardly any steak, very bland in flavor. I asked if it was like Bulgogi flavor, waitress said oh yes. Umm, oh no...it absolutely wasn't. Take the Korean part off the menu cuz thats trash. The fancy named jambalaya, was very good. Think the sausage could have been done a little more but great flavor and rice was spot on. Whitefish cakes...hard pass. Dont do those. Mushy breading, flavor lack luster. I was really disappointed in the one fish item we order doesn't hit. Two slices of pie, chocolate and the other peanut butter, very good. I enjoyed it. Not really like oooo so fancy. But like, eh I got a good pie from Meijer. Was good. Not bad. But good. Waitress was a blast. But id prefer that if you dont know, just say, im not sure. We asked about a wine, what she told us wasn't correct. Looked it up and it literally was a 9 dollar bottle from Walmart....bruh you just charged me 8 bucks for a glass..... Idk, the whole thing was weird.

Visited for lunch. Lunch menu is reasonably priced, we enjoyed the white fish sandwhich and pesto grilled cheese.
Food was refreshing, quality ingredients. The tomatoes tasted like heirloom, and the freshly made chips were a welcomed change from the typical pile of fries most places go with. The red pesto with the grilled cheese was a nice way to step up the grilled cheese in a way my wife and toddler were able to still enjoy.
Atmosphere is amazing, definitely has the vibes of fine dining with a view of the river.
Service was also on point. Some other reviews share negative experienced around wait times and service but none of this was experienced by our party. Wait times were minimal and service was friendly and accomodating.

Great service, but food lacked flavor, especially for the price. I don't mind spending money on food that changes my life, but this was not even as good as the food I can make myself at home.

We had a seasonal special appetizer which was Brussels with bacon and drunken cherries that was very good. We also had the goat cheese and bruschetta. It was ok. A little greasy and imbalanced. It needed more goat's cheese. My wife's fillet mignon was very tasty and well cooked. The special (duck a l'orange) was ok. The skin was not crispy or well reduced and was chewy and fatty. I ended up cutting off the skin and then it wasn't bad. The veggies were tasty, well cooked and seasoned. A good meal but for $165 for two people, it could have been much better.

Beautiful restaurant- would be lovely for an event. We sat on the patio overlooking the Manistee River with our dog. Service lovely. Salmon deviled eggs were decadent. Lunch menu delicious. Definitely will come back for dinner and would like to try everything on the menu!

It was very good!
Just wasn't that great of food. Not a single vegetarian item on the menu for my wife. The whitefish wasn't flaky, rather soggy with an awful bed of risotto. I opted for the ceasar salad and the house made dressing was very suspiciously close to ranch dressing. I'll skip this restaurant...forever. 5/24/2025, 5:40p, receipt 20027.
Sat for 30 minutes without being waited on.
The food was amazing but the service was terrible! It took over 10mins for us to be greeted. We brought our dogs & sat on the deck w(which was lovely) we got our drinks pretty quickly but the food took forever. The server forgot to bring the gazpacho & when we asked for it it took 15+ mins to come out. It was almost a 2hr lunch!
The food was very flavorful! The staff was so nice. We will definitely be going again when we are up this was.
