It was very good!
Just wasn't that great of food. Not a single vegetarian item on the menu for my wife. The whitefish wasn't flaky, rather soggy with an awful bed of risotto. I opted for the ceasar salad and the house made dressing was very suspiciously close to ranch dressing. I'll skip this restaurant...forever. 5/24/2025, 5:40p, receipt 20027.
Sat for 30 minutes without being waited on.
The food was amazing but the service was terrible! It took over 10mins for us to be greeted. We brought our dogs & sat on the deck w(which was lovely) we got our drinks pretty quickly but the food took forever. The server forgot to bring the gazpacho & when we asked for it it took 15+ mins to come out. It was almost a 2hr lunch!
The food was very flavorful! The staff was so nice. We will definitely be going again when we are up this was.
Had a great meal at the Bluefish after a failed visit to The Bungalow. Caesar salad was amazing! Grilled chicken had awesome flavor and the dressing was thick, flavorful and made in house! They even have a ‘with anchovies’ option! Alex our server was amazing and did a great job! Drinks were very good and the price was right! I think we found our new Friday ‘night out’ favorite! Well done Blue Fish!
Relaxed atmosphere, hubby had a great burger which he couldn't finish! I had pasta with meatballs which I couldn't finish, the meatballs were spectacular! We took creme brulee home for dessert which was top-notch!
What a cool, comfortable atmosphere! Totally different from all the rest!

Great atmosphere. Good menu, good wine list but the white fish tasted like the end of the season when the fish turns to mush.

The food was very good. Our table started with bruschetta, which was wonderful in presentation and flavor. Entrees included a chicken Caesar salad, the salmon, and shrimp and sausage Alfredo. Each was excellent. The only issue was timing, with our appetizer being slow to arrive and entrees served four minutes later. Small hiccup on an otherwise delicious birthday dinner.

Visited while passing through on a roadtrip. I expected the place to have a variety of fish dishes, but it only had two, with more focus on seafood appetizers. The waitress (Grace) was very nice and helpful, even though they were short on staff.
The food was okay. The salmon was seared a little too much.

Ordered the salmon to go. Took about 15 minutes to have ready. Portions were good. But the taste of the salmon was amazing. Perfectly cooked.
Parking was good. But we ordered about 45 minutes before closing. There seemed to be plenty of seating options for dine in.

After we were seated, we waited for quite a bit of time. As others that came in after us were being waited on and even served thair food. We got up after a fashion and went to leave. We ran into a manager and told him our complaint. We then decided to stay. Our server at this point was super nice. Took some time to get some water and food, though. The food there was very good.

We sat on the back deck on the river. It was early midday we had two appetizers warm smoked white fish with crostini and salmon deviled eggs with a little bit of caviar. It was a beautiful day and midweek so there wasn't that many people around. We will try it again when we're in the area I would think it would be very good for dinner .

It's a nice place to get a decent meal. Located at the end of the main street in downtown Manistee. There is street parking and a very small lot across the street. We were seated right away. You can set inside or on the deck overlooking the water. The hostess was pleasant. They have a full bar that seats about 10 people. We ordered 3 drinks that did take a little long. The server was very nice and made menu suggestions. We ordered an appitizer and 4 meals. The accostics were a little loud. If there were more people, it would be hard to have conversations. The food was good but not great for as much as you are paying.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp for the sidewalk. No step into the building. Enough room.for.a wheelchair to maneuver
