This place sucks all around def don't recommend going here. The prices are outrageous the food is not good at all and yes it's a bar but also a restaurant but is not an environment for kids. The serviice is not good and loud obserd music is constantly blaring in the back but can hear it in the dining room and at the bar. No one acts like they know what they are doing or care. Def don't recommend this place for anyone.

I love North Channel! Everything I've tried on the menu is great. My favorites are the Caesar salad, the cheeseburger, and the onion rings with the honey. The food is always the same great quality, but I do miss the fried pickle chips! They were the best. The Sawmill stout is great, but they could use some more dark beers - browns and porters!Summertime it gets super busy, but it's worth the wait. I think the food quality matches the price, and the portion sizes are plentiful.Staff is always friendly, even when they are clearly overwhelmed with tables.The gluten free bun is overpriced at $4 extra....but most restaurants in the area don't even have that option.

I like the environment but north channel is grossly overpriced. This is what a 19 dollar Reuben looks like from there. Does this look like a 19 dollar Reuben?Our server was awesome! He even made me an off the menu drink that was absolute perfection but due to the over priced, low quality food I most likely will not be back.

Had a nice lunch date today with my wife today. Walleye tacos were awesome! Perfect blend of flavors. My wife had the Chicken Caesar Wrap and thought it was delicious. Manistee IPA is great. Nice young man took care of us and was super gracious with us as we were in a hurry to catch a meeting. Great service! Great Food and Brews. We will be back!

$25 for “walleye tacos.” 3 fork fulls of meat, tacos tasted terrible and could only stomach one. Appetizer came out, waitress expressed how sorry she was that kitchen was backed up. 2 min later dinner came out… They weren’t backed up, there were 7 people in whole restaurant. Didn’t see waitress again for extended amount of time. If I could have given a zero star, that would of been more accurate and made me feel better. Will certainly not be back, and happily will spread the word of what a terrible place to attempt to eat at.

Definitely missed the mark…no kids Mac & Cheese on the kids menu, that’s what kids love is Mac & Cheese not fish & chips basket! You might want to add that back on the menu

After coming here, I’m not sure why it doesn’t have a much higher rating. We came in the off season from Chicago. I got a Bloody Mary which was perfect and I’m picky. My husband tried all the beers and so many were good. I’m not into beer but i liked many of them. We got the smoked whitefish dip and i loved it so much that i decided that’s all i wanted to eat. It’s pretty filling and probably geared towards a table of four than two. Service was good. Everyone was so nice, patient and accommodating since it was our first visit. The atmosphere was clean and fairly trendy but cozy at the same time. We’ll be back.
