I walked to this restaurant yesterday afternoon and it was rather disappointing. After I decided what to eat three separate times, I was informed that they were out of each of them. I should have just left, because when I finally found a meal I could settle on, it wasn't very good.The biscuits and gravy are bland and it's apparent that the food was all canned.Not the best atmosphere either.I probably won't be back.

This place is a cool Midwestern gem. Kinda like going to aunties house for a talking to, and getting a snack while you're at it. Patricia the owner is like teriyaki jerky. Sweet and tough. Made me feel right at home even though I'm from across the country. Bicuits and gravy were good, coffee just like aunty makes it.Have to add, seems like the only place to get a customized built to order sandwich in Manistee unless you like chain restaurants (blech).Excuse me... Sammich.. not sandwich.
