For the first time ever the food was bad. The bar was understaffed and the dinner crowd was large. Our server couldn’t keep up and no other staff to back her up. Our table of five were served warm (at best) meals, fries were re-made but by then we had finished the entrees which were not hot as well. Had to ask for the side salad that came with meal, then were charged for requesting ranch instead of Italian dressing. Such a disappointment, this place usually hits the spot.
One of my favorite bar restaurants in the area. It is one of the few places you can still get real boasted chicken in Michigan. They even have boasted fish. Both are incredibly delicious. But they have many other stand outs on the menu. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is incredible, they have a 1800s Brunswick bar that is worth the visit alone. I stop here every time I come through town.
We arrived with our baby, and the restaurant was packed. Heather noticed us immediately and greeted us with a smile. She got us a table and gave us prompt friendly service! ♥️ A great experience and all of the decorations are very cool!
