Great food, Great service, Great owner, GREAT TIMES
The place is great. The staff was very friendly. They went the extra mile to make our visit a good one.We both had great dinners. My wife had a beautiful cut of prime rib and I had the hand fried lake perch dinner, with locally sourced fresh wild perch. We especially enjoyed the live bands, The 1 Ton Trolley opened up for and then joined, Adam Carpenter & The Upper Hand.So if you ever find yourself in 'da Yooper' traveling on 94, somewhere near the middle between Munising and Manistique, stop in the Boot Lake Bar & Grill for good drinks and great food.

Great food good service good music great time!!
This was my b/f 2nd time there & my 1st time... neither one of us was impressed by any means. We stopped in to warm up from sledding & to grab supper. The bartender/waitress got us each a drink. We put a very simple & quick to make order in (none of the items in the sampler would take more than 6 min. to cook.) was a sampler with drummies. We were informed they were out of drummies & could substitute chicken strips (which was fine) the bartender/ waitress put our order in. A table of 5 men came in after us & put their order in of meals. They were the only customers besides us. They meagot their meals. We were still waiting for ours & waited for almost 40 min. While the bartender/ waitress was on the phone for quite some time never bothering to say anything to us or the cook or to check on the table of 5 men...like hey isn't their food almost ready. We decided to just get our gear on & leave...then that's when she brought the food out. We politely declined & said we were disappointed. I don't think we'll ever return nor recommend to anyone. ??
When snowmobiling in this area we always come here. Food is excellent, place is clean and cozy. Servers have always been friendly.
Went there on my birthday thinking of haveing a nice meal but instead what was ordered from the menu was not what came out of the kitchen. Who advertises a patty melt sandwich on swirled rye bread and is out of it and just decides to make it on Texas toast. Not even grilled. That sandwich was 4 inches tall not even eatable. I sent it back and my friends sandwich was made on the same Texas toast when ordered. Two beverages and his sandwich was over 30.00$ what a waste of time and money. Never got compensated at all.
The place is great. The staff was very friendly. They went the extra mile to make our visit a good one.
