“I have never been disappointed with anything I have ordered from The Grind! Everything I have received has always been made just the way I ordered it (I’m very particular) & is always top tier!! The new owners are constantly updating their menu and bringing many new modern items to it as well! My new favorite products they have are the functional mushroom powders; so delicious with many health benefits! Today I ordered a brown sugar & maple frappe with an extra shot of espresso, a scoop of their Aja mushroom powder, and oat milk. It was blended to perfection & is by far the best frappe I have ever tasted! Thank you The Grind Coffee House!”

“Great little townie bar in Manistique, drinks are cheap and food is good. Menu is pretty basic but well executed, burgers, wings, tacos, etc. Casey absolutely nailed cooking my burger to a perfect medium rare, not once but twice in the week I was here working. Not only did she get my burger perfect but she was extremely friendly and made me feel welcome in the hometown bar. I'll def be back next time I'm in Manistique! If you want the local experience while you're in Manistique come to Wheaty's Pub, you won't be disappointed!”

“Stopped here on a whim to get a quick breakfast and couldn’t be more pleased! I had the apple cinnamon crepe, which was divine. Also enjoyed a vanilla iced coffee, which was far superior to the coffee at other brunch places. Already excited to stop by again sometime and try other dishes on the menu!”

“We came here a few nights when staying in Manistique and there was always a line and was always a great time. Soooo many options to be had here. They do start to shut things down near to close, so you might not get to choose from all the options if you show up in their last 10-15 minutes or so, but otherwise you're good. We found lots of locals and visitors alike there every night we went. Friendly crowds of chatty people. Everyone was super nice. Local, cheap, tons of options - well worth checking out if you're in the area!”

“Ordered pizza on line for tonight. It tasted fine but was cold! The pizza (2) were picked up on time but were sitting on the bar when we arrived. Being they must of been prepared much earlier then our texted available pickup time, 7:15pm. Not kept warm. Somewhat disappointed that the pizza wasn’t kept warm.”

“I love dining here! Being able to look out over the golf course in the evening, as catching an Indian Lake sunset is a real treat! The food here is always delicious, nice salad bar, and great service every time we've been here!”

“Beware if you're paying with card there is a $30 minimum! I'm not from the area so I walked in not having a clue. I placed my order over the phone so you'd think they would've mentioned that when they told me my total. The staff were a little rude but were nice enough to make an exception as I didn't have enough cash with me. The food was simple but delicious, your typical American Chinese fare. I had the Sweet and Sour Chicken with white rice. The portions are enough for 2 people with some leftover. I'd say the portions and the quality are fair for the prices they charge.”

“My husband and I stopped in on a very busy day when they were short staffed, but you could clearly see they were working as fast as they could and the food was well worth the wait! Large portions and great beer selection!”

“Just in town for the night, thought we'd check it out. One-man on duty, light crowd, drink order taken right away, food order shortly after, was attentive to all guests. Charming, historical atmosphere. Had the smoked brisket melt. Excellent!”

“Christy's is the best bar in The UP if you don't care about much and in the mood to just get hammered with other people who just want to get hammered - we all do from time to time. New around here and heard it's the best place if you're looking for a good woman who can hold her liquor but its usually just dudes when I've been there. Hoping that what I heard turns out to be true one of these days. Thumbs up!”

“The atmosphere is awesome. They have the best fries. The service was fast and the beer was cold. The woodwork around the bar is so beautiful. I believe it was shipped up from Chicago”

“Not sure how they are still in business since they lost Cricket. Don't answer the phone and the pizza is regularly overcooked or otherwise messed up. The only thing they had going for them was delivery. Now that I have to leave my house anyway, I can get better pizza elsewhere in town.”

“The only negative was that the toaster wasn’t working. However the ladies working there were really good and were able to make a good sandwich with the microwave.”
