Best burger around! We’re not from the area, but Clyde’s was recommended and it didn’t disappoint. A lot of food for the price, too. If you’re traveling through Manistique, don’t pass Clyde’s without trying it! It’s not far off US 2, so it’s very easy to get to.

Don't blink or youll miss this diner right out of the 50's. It is geared more towards the summer cloud, witess than 20 seats in the establishment. SO WORTH it. Can order just a sandwich, or 3 sides for one sandwich, really great selections. My wife plain double cheese and loved it. As a side we got the curds. Being from Wisconsin, they had a bit of a hill to climb, but they were tasty.
I got the Big C... And I highly suggest not ordering if you have any intention of being productive after lunch. The food coma afterwards is no joke. Huge good flavor, patties and the onion and pickles (you choose the topings) just made it a fantastic food choice.

Ordered gluten-free hamburger and curly fries. They were really tasty and there weren't any celiac side effects. Will definitely go back anytime I'm in the area. I saw there's a few other locations, St. Ignace, and Sault st. Marie. Highly recommend to all gluten free diners, and everyone else too.

Our first visit and went 1 /2 hour out of our way to get there. Meat was good quality but lacked flavor. The outside service waitress came to take our order and we had to ask her to clean the very sticky picnic table top. She never asked if we wanted any condiments on it. She. dropped our food off and only returned to bring the check. We had the 1/2 lb double patty Mushroom Swiss Burger. The Swiss cheese was between the Patty's and the mushrooms were on top of the meat without melted cheese... they kept falling out with every bite.

Every year I go camping in the upper Peninsula in October, and every year I make the pilgrimage to Clyde’s drive-in. I have dined at some of the best restaurants in country. Award-winning, Michelin starred, fine-dining establishments. Believe me when I say, the cheeseburger at Clyde‘s drive-in is the best cheeseburger in the United States of America, full stop.
