Just in town for the night, thought we'd check it out. One-man on duty, light crowd, drink order taken right away, food order shortly after, was attentive to all guests. Charming, historical atmosphere. Had the smoked brisket melt. Excellent!
We were relieved to find this place open in an area hit hard with worker shortages. Busy staff provided very good service and food was satisfying. The onion rings were disappointing, but the brisket sandwich was excellent and I was pleased to find a good salad option on the menul. Loved the local brews and the ambiance - classic old bar and tin ceilings.
My husband and I found this little hole in the wall thru google maps. They have amazing food and very friendly staff! We ordered the Scrooge’s Cornucopia burger deluxe and split it! We each were full from our portion of it! The brisket on it was very tender and the whole sandwich was absolutely amazing! Would recommend to anyone! Bartender was very nice and friendly, we will be back!
